Smile FS MISC: 2GB Ram | Excellent Condition NANYA Computer Notebook Memory!

Hello,

I am selling 2GB of ram from Nanya (1GB memory each stick, so two memory sticks total). I used this ram for about 6 months in my new Dell Inspiron 1420 Laptop until I finally upgraded to 4GB of ram (2GB ram each).

Specs:

-DDR2 SODIMM 200-Pin
-1GB each ram (2g total)
-PC2-5300S
-667MHZ

This RAM is in PERFECT working condition. I believe SODIMM is for laptops, since this was taken off my laptop as well. I also had windows VISTA at 32bit OS, I believe the max is 3GB. Once I upgraded to windows 7 64-bit I was allowed to upgrade to 4GB total, hence why I am selling this. There is no problem with this ram at all! Taken off my personal laptop used at home not an overclocked computer at the office.

PRICE:
25$ shipped with tracking! Ram of this quality usually goes to $50 not including shipping. Paypal recommended. Pickup price is 20$

What exactly does RAM do? I'm not real computer tech savvy..

I checked the memory on my macbook pro and it says:

For the first memory slot
Size: 1 GB
Type: DDR2 SDRAM

And the second says the same

RAM is the Memory of your computer. Basically every process and program you run, they each take a certain amount of memory. So the more programs you run at one time, the more ram you need. A lot of windows take a bit over 1 gig ram just to operate at idle. I'm not sure about Mac Operating systems. So by having more RAM, your computer can run more things at a time without effort =]. A computer with a lot of RAM can run more problems at a easily and smoothly. RAM is actually very important.

IF you have 1GB ram and the second one says the same, then you have 2GB RAM total. That is what I'm selling, so you should be fine without this. If you want to keep 2GB ram, but still upgrade. Then you need to look at the MHZ. But if you have 2GB ram already, I suggest you just go 4GB or wtv your laptop can handle, if you did want to upgrade. Click the link in my first post, it will further explain what RAM does and specifically how much RAM your laptop can handle.
