the ipod cables... are these ones to install into the xb? and if so how much trouble is it to put into 04 scion xb first first gen before ipod/aux connection on the 2nd 1st gen.

I honestly don't know, sorry. I would assume that the cables are the same across the models, but again, that's just an assumption. I got these for my '05 tC and couldn't ever figure out how to get the darned thing up and running.

Hopefully someone can chime in with a better answer than that.
