Default GI: 2005 Scion xA RS2.0 Turbo Charged

So the time has come for me to make a few difficult decisions. I have recently picked up a new project car and after working on it for a few days and envisioning the end result of it have come to the conclusion that my Scion xA would not be getting very much attention from me in terms of driving it. I feel it is time to move on and try something different.

Car was dyno'd at 157WHP and 170WTQ on Stock internals, has not been dyno'd on the newly built engine.

Overall Condition:
Vehicle is in excellent condition. Runs very smoothly and strong. Incredibly powerful for a 1.5 liter engine. Makes approximately 185-200WHP on 12.5psi of continuous boost.
No major flaws with the body, One ding on the Passenger Side Rear door and the usual minor clearcoat scratches. Absolutely NO RUST. The interior is kept in immaculate condition, with minimal wear.

The car has taken home 7 Trophies over the last 2 years I have put it in shows. I have put countless hours of care and maintenance into the car not including the six months I spent building the new engine and turning it into a performance car.

The car gets great gas mileage when driven considerately 30-35MPG on the highway as long as you are not on boost, otherwise you can see 25-28MPG when you drive it like I do. It is very powerful for it's size and it's lightweight. This is truly no longer a Scion built for economy and shows, it is built for speed and performance. The engine alone has 10K in parts invested into it.

Price:
Asking price for this vehicle is $11,000.00 O.B.O.

1985 Toyota Corolla AE86

Converting from a base model SR5 to a GTS. Already have a new limited slip rear end, transmission, and a 20 valve 4AGE Silvertop imported from JDM land.

It's going to be a big project that will attract a lot of attention when it's done, and unfortunately for the little xA, I have a feeling that I would be driving it all the time.

Price is now 11,995 folks! I would like to see this go to a good home.

Also took some time to remove the graphics from the car, so here it is in it's current form:

Last price change before it goes to e-bay!

Now 11,000 or best offer

Car still runs great in single digit temps and handles well in light snow.

Honestly, I'd ask 13k for it, if I were you. I paid 11,800 for mine and it's just a stock rs 2.0. It's one of those things though, the seller was close by and I wasn't going to buy an xa if it wasn't an RS...so I bought it. If the buyer really wants it, it won't matter what you're asking. Hell, if I had been closer to you, I would have bought yours! Good luck!!

I found your thread on Yarisworld...I was hoping you had already sold this car so I could stop pining for it I can't believe these people who keep saying,"if only you were in such-and-such a place that is within walking distance of my house, I would buy it".If you want a car, go get it! I went from virginia to california to get my beetle. Which, by the way,I would sell in an instant if I could get 11,000 for it. Then I could buy a certain turbocharged xA i've been looking at...

Okay well, I bought my car in May, so I wouldn't have known to go there to get it in the first place. Since I'm assuming "these people" is referring to me, being I'm the one who said it would have been nice if he was closer. But too, I suppose I find it kinda dumb to go all too far for a car, unless it's one of a kind and there's no way you could make a replica of that car. Oh well, to each their own.

Sorry, didn't mean you personally, just wanted to stress how much I wish I had $11,000 right now. My bug doesn't have heat and we are in the middle of a cold snap here. Anything that is fast and fun and has working heat would be great about now. Please do not take offense. I just really like cars, don't mind travelling to buy one that strikes my fancy.

By the way, I wasn't thinking of your post at all when I wrote that first thing about going to get the car. You had said that you bought your car earlier, before he put his up for sale! So, no worries.

Haha! I still have the car and if you are really interested in it I'm sure we could work out a way to get it where it needs to go, even if i have to drive to you.
