How about Fog lights like the USA have in stock?????
Sway bars, springs, strut braces, big brake kit, ETC.
All show and no go will make it very short lived in Canada,
If your going to sell it as a tuner car then you give us the Accessories to do so!
Please lets keep our above par Canadian Dollars in Canada. Don't force me to spend it in the USA, I can.....
Ok my $.02 are use up and the soap box is free.......

i'd drop the big brake kit off the list. as awesome of a product as it is, (and i could be wrong) i do not believe it sells very well. TRD should just put out s/s brake lines rotors (same diameter; slotted) and pads (which they already produce) into a brake kit upgrade. or sell individually. i think these products would fly off the shelf.

Fog lights will be available in the next few weeks... We have had to make accommodations for DRL and Bluetooth (standard equipment here in Canada), and are doing our best to get them released ASAP!
As for the TRD parts, the TRD Lowering Springs have been tested (check out 1stOne's Canadian Build Thread), and should be available soon! As for the rest of the TRD Parts - sways, strut brace, BBKs, etc. are all still under development. It's not just Canadian Scion enthusiasts that are waiting... check out http://www.scion.com/#/tC-accessories. All are "coming soon".
Trust me, you guys will be the first to know when we are launching any new products! Thanks for all the interest and support!

Believe me, we are just as anxious to get the parts up here!

Wow...
Ok, as a buyer of US products myself and someone with an address down south to boot, I can assure you that what you will spend there will be far more then you will in Canada.
No pricing is announced yet for any TRD parts, so you can't compare apples to apples just yet.
Even though our dollar is at par, you still have to factor in shipping, duties, brokerage, or just the gas to go get it if you have a way of picking it up on the other side. For parts like a set of springs, you'd be burning your money wasting the time for the pennies you might save.
Just my 2 cents Mr.Soapbox. Trust me, the prices for the TRD parts in Canada are far more favourable then I bet you all think they will be.

And i shall leave the cross border shopping to a very different thread at a different time, for we to have a FL address.
Please let us have the chance to make our Scions unique in our own way.
P.S. 1stOne my wife and i live in the GTA, We also have a TC if you are around for a coffee to see what you have done to yours ?

I did some checking around, and found that I could buy the same steelies, in Grand Forks, ND for $200 new.
Based on that difference, I'm going to take a "wait and see" approach when it comes to the TRD upgrade pricing (Not like the Canadian First Gen owners will see any of the TRD stuff for our boxes.)
And, yes, I know this is a pretty negative post. It stems partially from the parts situation, and partially from where Corporate decided to open the first dealerships. T.O. and Van, I can understand. Big communities there. I'm guessing noone did the research and realize that there are over 200 Scions in Winnipeg alone(1st AND 2nd gen xBs and tCs with a couple of xAs kicking around), not including the rest of the province. We're just not feelin' the love right now.
That's my $.02

You know, I have a bit of a hard time believing this. I'm a 1st Gen xB owner, in Winnipeg. My box came with aftermarket wheels on it. To buy the *stock* rims, no rubber, it was going to cost me close to if not more than $500. For steelies!

If you don't mind me asking, what would you expect to pay for the following items, assuming that you bought a new Scion model now available here in Canada?
-Lowering Springs
-Big Brake Kit
-19" Alloy Wheel (no tire or lugs, just the wheel itself)
I'm curious to know what you think would be a fair value for these items. I personally had a hand in writing the pricing for Canadian accessories, so I'm very interested to hear your feedback. Coming from an aftermarket background, I can first-hand say I'm impressed at what we were able to do for the Scion accessories here.
Regarding the dealer network, I can't say why it was decided to launch where they did. However at launch this case was the same in the USA. We can all hope that in time as the brand develops here, more dealers will begin popping up and help expand the culture nationwide.
