Depends, do you drive alot on the interstate or city only? If you are interstate driving I would say NO! I have 18's on mine with TRD springs and 225/40 tires. Ride is very comfortable on both types of roads but you lose alot of comfort when you drop down to 35's.
If you don't drive it alot and are more concerned with looks, then the 19's would be great. Just remember, rubber bands for tires are very unforgiving.

btw: sign up for the louisiana scikotics chapter! :D

i had a friend that owned an xb that had 19s on it, the ride is rougher and especially with the roads around lsu... if you dont mind the rougher ride and can stay clear of the pot holes, i say go for it, otherwise, get 18s with a little bit bigger tire wall... good luck...

I have stocks, but the tires replacement, thought it would be a good time to upgrade.

What about 19x8 et 35 with 225/40/19 on TRD springs? Would that be a better choice? Would the 225/40/19 instead of 225/35/19 raise the car up to make it look weird?

I have a 40 sidewall on my tire and it's not too big, so It should look straight, but the ride will be like poo.

If you're stock now any change you make is going to change the ride quality. But it's nothing that you can't get used to

I know the ride quality is going to change, I'm worried about bending a rim over a pothole or bump on the road if I get 19' on my daily drive.

The 40 tires would definitely feel better on the road but you might run into rubbing issues then.
I think most people would tell you that 19's are not good for a daily driver.

Im runnin 20's on my tc around Baton Rouge and the roads are definitely not forgiving. On top of that, my tires are 225x30x20 to reduce the rubbing with my h-techs. Sometimes you just gotta sacrifice comfort for looks.
