im planning on by sometime this summer, and im just doing a simple setup, trd charger with the nst 9.5 pulley and factory airbox and reflash, with my header and full exhaust i should be around 230 on the ground, thats more then enough for arkansas. after that im doing seats and other things to the car before i do more performance, to get any more power out of it would cost some $$$

and hawgs ill keep an eye out, ill search wlr and surrounding areas but you need to sweep conway and make sure nothing slips through our fingers...

by the way, your not the kid that raced that red si are ya, he was running his mouth about tC's the other weekend and he was at the car meet sunday so i asked if he would run me, he said ya cause he knows he can kill a tC, he shows me video of him racing someone, long story short he shows up last night and comes up to me while im in a group and ask if i was going to race and i told him im always ready, then he tells me his gf wouldnt let him race and he will try to get with me next weekend.

i think i have met you huffy, someone was talking about a turbo setup on 4lbs of boost with .060" over pistons putting down 340, not sure where they came up with that number or why they would put oversize pistons in a new engine when all you need to do is change the compression by getting a dish piston, and in the import world they dont go by .030, .040, and so on, they do it in mm but i just agreed cause its gets old explaining to alot of the kids that hang out in the lots anything "real" about cars, should have seen the crew out last night, i just go out for the laughs now!!! haha

now its time for the mad scientist to take a crack at the ole' scion

i hear ya, there were two kids uptown a couple of weeks ago, one with a fm and one with a bsp, they saw my car and asked what it was cause of the toyota badges and i said a tC and they were shocked, they couldnt figure it out, then wanted me to park with them, i just kinda did my own thing. the kid with the fm was talking about getting a turbo and blah blah blah, said he had some sponser that was hooking it up for him and what not. the fm was the one the kid in the red si outran, i watched the video and the kid with the tC just dumped the clutch at like 3500 and spun through the first 2 gears, no wonder why he lost, and he thinks he will handle a turbo...kids these days, guess everyone has to start somewhere

and thats some setup in your vetter hufy, my old roomate put a stock rod 400 in a 74 vette, set of iron dart heads, crane hyd roller cam, and a eldebrock intake and carb, with stock hei ign and 2.5 exhaust, the car went 12.10's at 113 with the stock 3.08 gears on street tires, so your should be even quicker then that, post pics if your ever get a chance, im still a muscle car guy at heart

dang, good looking car, love the fact you got a 383 stocker and ac, never been a big fan of side pipe but they dont look that bad on there, what wheels are you getting on there and are you staying with black, when i go back to ga, ill have some new pics of my dads projects, hopefully june his 69 camaro z28 will be out of paint and we can get it back together to sell to finish up the next car, right now he has the camaro which is a matching number dz302 car hugger orange and black stripes, a one owner 67 chevelle ss396 4sp , and a 1970 gto judge ram air iv which is only one of 67 ram air iv judges built that year, thats going to be the money maker when its done, there was one that sold on barrett-jackson for 180,000
i miss having a bad a$$ car to drive around

paint scheme is still up in the air, i know the base color is staying black tho. thanks for the comments!! im not a fan of side pipes neither lol but i think they look good on the black

when buying a car it was between the vette and a gto judge thats owned by this gerneral contractor my dad knows, this guys got it sitting in a warehouse collecting dust. all original, with the dual ram air, its orange with a rear spoiler....i dont remember what year it was and its bugging me! but any way the guy let a big locker fall over on it and put a big dent right in the body line by the rear glass. he wont sell it tho because he said it looks just like the car he had as a teenager!!! the only reason its in the warehouse is because it was sitting in his yard so long the neighbors started to complain!! so we ended up with the vette.....still not a gto tho lol

next project we got a 68 chevelle ss396

huffy- that judge was prob a 68 or 69, and even though it was orange, its called carasel red, my dads is a 70 painted orbit orange, but the color is yellow, pontiac was weird when coming up with names for colors back in the day, no matter the year, they are all great cars, just like that chevelle your starting on, im trying to find a 70-73 camaro to restore, my first car was a 73 camaro but i wanted to go fast and it was all orignal and my dad wouldnt let me touch it, so i sold it a year after i got out of high school and built my first drag car, a 78 camaro. if you ever come across someone around here with a decent body for a decent price let me know, dont care about opitions, not looking to build it for resale value, want to build it the way i want.

Just to jump in here, any of you AR folks know of a good tint shop? I'd like to get the xB done one of these days, and need someplace I can trust to do it right. If they'll do a bit darker than legal, that's a plus too.
