DCH Scion of Oxnard and Sickotics Present: Scionfest II

So.....Andrew and I are wondering if anyone is down for a little Oxnard, CA Road Trip on October 5th through the 7th. Looks like the So-Cal Scikotics and DCH Scion of Oxnard are holding a charity event to support a local charity to be named shortly. Some nice weather and a great chance to get some pics near the beach!!! Maybe even a little Magic Mtn. before the ride home Sunday.....who knows???

Sounds like a flyer is soon to follow. Check out the link above and it should show up there any day. Just in case the flyer never get's on the So-Cal tC website, here are the details to the show. I have also added some driving time/directions and hotel links as well. Now remember, the hotel rates are always changing, so calling is probably the best way to find out exactly how much they will cost, but this should give you a ballpark figure. You could always go the way of the Kahuna and Dagarhart and save a bunch through Price Line or one of those types of sites!

I would love to go but I am going back to work on Sept. 30 and I have a business trip to Chicago on Oct. 14. Don't think I can swing a weekend off for this but I will certainly try and see what I can do!!! I really don't want to miss this.

 

i would like to go possibly. How many miles are we looking at for this trip and when would you and Andrew be looking at leaving?

 

Mapquest says 419 and it wouldn't be until after work some time that Friday.
I can't use anymore vacation days for roadtrips.
I know for me the trip is going to be like this...

Friday leave around 3:00 PM and arrive in Oxnard around 8:00 PM...
...who knows for the rest of the night!
Saturday go chill by the beach for a bit and do whatever till roll-in @ 2:30...
...again, who knows for the rest of the night!
Sunday wake up whenever and come home!

Andrew is talking about hitting up Magic Mountain with Tami and Krystal possibly on Sunday, but not sure if that is defenite or not??? That is something you would have to ask Andrew!

It would be cool to meet some of you from Az. My wife and I drove out to Roswell, NM for Scion Invasion, it was a 1005 mile and 14 hour trip. Y'all should be able to drive 5 hours, LOL. j/k. I do look forward to seeing y'all.
