Thanks for everyone's support so far and keep spreading the word! The bigger this event is (turnout) the BETTER the show and racing will be. I have some big things in store for everyone.

So far I have about 30+ Scion members. We're working on the Honda guys right now and I think a large group of Mazdas will be there as well. Should be a great event!

Haha...

So you're telling me if I floor it and get there quicker, I still end up wasting more gas than driving there really slow?

All those tickets for no reason... tisk tisk on me

(kidding for those who don't realize)

WHAT?! you can drive slow with a turbo!?

UNHEARDOF.

but yea man. i think i might lean it out before i come. i can't moniter the fuel trims right now so maybe hte car is correcting itself while i'm driving? i don't really know how the tc ecu works. =/

for the vegas guys it's 314 miles away! that's a tank and a half or a full tank for people who drive normal.

we shoudl wear hello my name is badges tehre so we know who everybody is!

add to that, that i could write "hello, my name is so sick" on mine.

I averaged 23-24mpg with 9+ psi on a daily driven basis on my tune so it's doable. If you're using a Greddy Emanage Blue, then your partial throttle fuel maps are lean regardless. Chances are you're just running pig rich at wide open throttle.

The name tag idea may work. Paul and I would have to see how much money we'd have left for miscellaneous things such as these, but it's a good idea.

nah, the thing is at partial throttle when im running too rich, around 12afr~

all in partial throttle, so it's killing my milage slowly, im on the f/ic so i can tune partial throttle. also got a major boost leak, which affects everything too. sorry joe, i didn't mean to get off topic. haha

hey, if you can't im pretty sure if you ask somebody, one of us will be willing to shell out the 5 - 10 bucks for like.......300 of those things.

Ok cool. We can talk more about your tune if you email me (see sig).

As for the labels/name tags; I'm sure it won't be an issue. I just know Paul and I will be incredibly busy in the meantime preparing cars and the show.

1- I am in...especially if you plan on doing any vendor stuff...

I know I am a competitor but if its open I will be there

Now for cars and teams...

Honda stuff.....

Please let me know or Contact Hasport directly...they have some of the best time attack Hondas in the country and they are in your backyard. Plus they could get you some help getting some of the Cali racers to come out as well

Let me know if you need anything...I am all about helping where I can. I can step out of the TT shoes for a while and help you guys put together an awesome event.

Regards-

Todd

Hello Todd,

I'm terribly sorry I missed your post! I remember reading it but for some reason got distracted at the time and apparently never got back to it.

Regardless, I'm sure you understand when I say I can not have vendors there that would pose a direct conflict of interest. I would love to see you there however so definitely stop by and bring your car if you'd like!

Hasport would be great to have, but we're trying not to bring to many big name tuner cars there, because we'd like the Scion owners, honda owners, etc to have as much time on the track as possible. I know there are some beast of time attack cars out there, but it's tough to fit so many things in one day.

The vendors we're looking for are those that manufacture parts and sell to distributors. These companies support the entire sport compact industry and will not effect us, Turbo Toyotas, or any other company in competition with us. We feel this is the smartest way to have a show/event, without stepping on anyone's toes, including our own.

I'm sure you understand, and I'm glad to hear of your interest for the show. I look forward to meeting you there, or hopefully sooner.

So let's go punk! If you don't want want to bring your car then ride out with me. I got the gas. Then we can hit Vegas after.
Im still debating. If your not bringing your car to race, just ride with me and pay all of my gas!
Why would I drive there in your stock Honda when I can go in my mac'd out tC?

I was gonna print a shirt up with my avatar and my SL name on it. Although I wouldn't really need the avatar on there cuz I look exactly like that.

so even if my xa is stock, but i want to race on the track... i can just pay the $65 and hit the track for fun??

suggestion: seperate the cars in the show. have a honda section near the trash cans/dumpsters and have the scions in the center where they all can be visible.

if the date is good and there's a holiday the following monday i could possibly go.

There are a lot of nice Honda's out there, no need to diss. But I am sure Joe/Paul have plenty of ideas on how they are going to run everything, and there are probably already stressing beyond belief.

My club/crew is participating in a local show on this date. Dang, otherwise I wouldn't mind making the trip out.

Not to mention being a little close to the Formula D event in Atlanta which is May 9/10th.

Trust me, I would be there for sure. But I can only do so many shows this year, as I have to pay for my own wedding next year. The Slammin and Jammin show is a local show to us, and our Scikotics Chapter tries to represent there since its home to us.

I've never been to Formula D, so I HAVE to go to that. No if ands or buts!

Totally understand Joe.

But if its cool to have a couple of cars for the show....sweet..and thank you

On a side note..

People need to come to this event!!!

There is allot going on that weekend at Firebird.

NASA has there Time attack going on

Super Street has there Super Lap battle qualifications going on

Modified has there Tuner shoot out going on.

So make sure whether your race and /or show you bring your best.

Plenty of opportunity for good exposure.

Regards-

Todd
