I am really thinking of driving the 677.79 miles it will take me over to go to this show. I haven't been to an shows yet in Southern Arizona. Looks like it would be a great show.

I don't see a lot of ppl signed up for this on Sionetics. Are the Tucson SA guys going? Anyone interested in a Tucson meet & roll out? I'm in QC, so I'm gonna go through Florence/Coolidge & make my way to Tucson, then SV from there...//TJ

10 AM - 5 PM. Kind of an early morning. I'm gonna leave the house around 6:30 & should be in Tucson by 7:45-8 AM. Long drive home, so I prolly won't stay the whole day...//TJ

Sorry to all, especially Mike on this. I was actually on the far side of Tucson (Houghton Rd?) on I-10 when I got a call from the wife that my kid broke his ankle in hockey practice. Had to turn around & drive home, & spent the rest of the morning & part of the afternoon in the ER with him. Sorry I did not make this one, but I will 100% be at the next one to make up for it. I was really looking forward to this & had put in a lot of time getting the ride ready. Again, sorry for the no-show...//TJ

Sorry I couldnt make it. I couldnt afford it. And I also forgot about it until friday night when TJ said he was going. Not enuff on this show to keep it fresh in ppls minds I think. I seen the last post by the dealership was on 3/28. Thats almost 3 months with no reminder or hyping of the show. I hope that they dont give up on us and not do anymore shows. I think after the Independnce show, we will be looking for something more to do. Give us one more chance and AZ lets make it happen.

Just my luck... I tried getting the Scion scene started in SV for years and now that my tC is totaled they start having shows! For those of you that have never been to the Sierra Vista area, it really is a great drive. Good luck in the future Sierra Scion!! I talked to Mrs. Macmillan prior to the first Scion arriving at the dealership. She seemed pretty excited about becoming part of the Scion community. I hope there will be more support for Sierra Scion at future events.

I was at the show, and I figured with the amount of dealership shows AZ gets, and with the support of Scionetics, that we'd get at least 30 cars there. Was very disappointing. Dealerships don't get as much support from corportate anymore to throw these shows for us, so when they do them, we need to go out and support them. In fact, all costs came out of their pocket. Corporate just gave them swag to hand out.

And swag we got. I got more swag that day than I do going to a Scion VIP event. For those that didn't come, they missed out. We got free food and drinks included with our registration, multiple classes for judging, and unique trophies. Great Raffle Prizes as well. And all of it went to a great cause.

I talked with Mike and asked to give it another shot, and I promised him that this time the Scion Community will show what we're all about.

And Sierra Vista is actually green with temps in the 70s. I don't know what else to say.

Would have liked to have gone, but I had to pick up the wife at the airport at 10am that morning.
