We'd like to announce a new series that we're putting together for the Arizona scene. AZSRA, Arizona Street Racers Association will provide racers of all skill levels and show vehicles with a place to compete for cash, prizes, and bragging rights.

Events will be held once a month at Speedworld Dragstrip beginning January 17th, 2009. I've posted the flyer for more details below. We're currently working on the rule book for the race & show classes and will have it posted to the site shortly (www.azsra.com)

Membership with AZSRA is only $150 and includes your admission cost to each event through-out the year (11 events). Race and Show registration is done per event during the scheduled registration times. Points will be kept over the course of the season and there will be a championship race at the end of the year. Membership is not required to compete for cash, prizes, and points. Members also receive 50% off registration fees.

i think for $150 you should get free registration, but thats just me

Is there a championship points for the show season as well. Like HIN?

Protip: Make it so only members can earn season points, and enable people to become members on-site. As it stands now, unless someone already knows they're going to go to at least 7 events, or attend and participate in 5 events, there's no reason to become a member.
