GT Live coming to Phoenix, 5-11 - 5/13
Paramax Inc. will be holding the 2nd ever GT Live night at Phoenx Intl. Raceway this May. Last year the first ever, highly successful GT Live went on at California Speedy in conjunction with the JGTC event. This year, it's coming to Phoenix along with the Grand Am Rolex series. During the course of the typical Grand Am weekend, GT Live will be putting on tons of great events around and inside the PIR facility. Here's a look at what's coming:
Grand American Road Race Series - The Rolex series, along with both classes of the Grand Am Cup will be doing their series race throughout the weekend at PIR.
GT Simulator Race - Fans will be have the opportunity to qualify for rides around the legendary 1.5 mile PIR road course in two-seat versions some of the coolest and most revered GT cars in the sport. The field will include fan-favorites from Super GT (formerly JGTC), Super Taikyu, Time Attack and Grand Am.
GT Track Attack Championship (Time Attack) - Time attack could be the next "big thing," so we believe it deserves to be big-time and our friends at Grand Am agree. Jointly we'll be putting on a new series that allow people to compete in time attacks around the country at major racing venues, as part of major races. We might even get the whole thing on TV.
GT Live AutoX - We all know how frustrating it is to go to a motor sports event and not be able to drive something yourself. Well we have just the cure. For an extra $25 you can buy the Auto-X package that allows you to take timed laps on a professionally managed coned lot. Registration occurs on site, but you need to purchase your package ahead of time. There will be a capacity limit.
GT LIVE Rally-X - Ever wonder what it is like to drive a rally car? Now you can try it for yourself by entering our rally-X competition.
The XDL Stunt Team - In 2006 The XDL Stunt Team is hitting the road and making an appearance at GT Live. Watch top drifters Max Orido and *** Taniguchi mix it up with the stunting talents of Ill Conduct. We'll put on 3 20-minute shows per day and if you're lucky you might even be able to get a ride with one of our drift stars between sessions.
Circuit Drive Ride & Drive - If you are like us then attending a motor sports event but not being able to drive just doesn't cut it. We'll be offering at least one ride & drive featuring brand new manufacturer cars. All you need to do is bring your license and sign a waiver and you are on your way to sprinting around a coned course.
RC Car Pavillion and Demo - As at the first GT LIVE, we'll be hosting an RC car demo showcasing the latest GT and drift RC cars and driving styles.
Go Kart Rides - Does all the racing have you inspired to go race your friends? Then this is the place. There is no extra charge, you just need to stand in line, so come early before everyone else has the same idea.
Car & Bike Show - If the action on the track and in the GT LIVE Arena is too fast for you, then stop by the car & bike show where things move at a slower pace. We'll have the hottest cars and bikes on display and yes, there will be plenty of girls.
The U.S. Stunt Riding Championship - The U.S. Stunt Riding Championship is an invitation only freestyle stunt competition that will crown the best stunt rider in the country at the end of 2006. It features one elimination round each on the West and East Coast. Each round will see the 25 to 30 best riders battle it out for the top 10 transfer spots to the season finale.

if you want to autocross you need to be with a club. Check with Kelly and see if he signed up 9and3.net guys or not. I know he got in.
As for the car show. It is not relaly a show, but more an Expo to display cars.
