Default JBL, Jensen and Audiovox Scottsdaletc Install *pics*

The tC stereo was recently completed and made it's debut at SEMA. I was located right out the front doors of the North hall, the main SEMA entrance. Looking for pictures from SEMA? Ask Dave for the 900 plus pictures that he took with my camera.

It has been a long time coming especially when I work for JBL, it is now done for the most part. The tC is at the shop now having the rest of the gear put in, opps, did I say more!?

The stereo was installed by Unique Car audio which is located at the address below. Sean is the owner, he has been in the Valley for a better part of 20 years. Sean is an audio enthusiast with lots of great ideas and he is a very savvy business man. The end result is a great system design and installation, Sean wants you back to his shop, not because the equipment or the install is not right/working.

As to the cost, Unique very reasonable, I am not sponsored by Unique or shown any special treatment being that I work in the industry. I paid my own ticket with him.

Here is the run down,

The head is a Jensen in dash fold out DVD/NAV/XM/Ipod/TV multi media system with 240 watts. This Radio is fully loaded with every bell and whistle. I have the link here for you to check out.

The headrests are black with Audiovox 7” monitors, these can be played with the entire system or each person in the back seat can watch movies independent of each other and the rest of the car. I have a link here, this is only for product looks and features.
http://www.audiovox.com/webapp/wcs/s...5754&langId=-1

The tC also features 6 more of the 7” in flat panel monitors mounted around the tC, doors, side windows and the subwoofer box.

The Tc will also feature as rear camera and rear view mirror with monitor.

http://www.audiovox.com/webapp/wcs/s...5082&langId=-1

The tC will feature a full security system with remote start.
http://www.audiovox.com/webapp/wcs/s...3346&langId=-1

The midrange and tweeters consist of JBL GTI series high performance component speakers. The tC has the C608GTI separates for the front and rear factory locations. .
http://www.jbl.com/car/products/prod...at=COS&ser=GTI

The woofers consist of two Power series 12” woofers capable of handling up to 1200 watts. These are some great woofers and they hit solid and hard.

The JBL Power series amplifiers are powering the tC, the Power Series 1100.1 Crown sub amp is powering the 12: woofers. Very nicely I might add.

The JBL Power series PX300.4 is powering the JBL GTI C608 midrange and separates for the front and rear.

i cant tell...

is there plexi over the amps?

if so, do you have fans somewhere to circulate air?

The amps have a clear top on them so you can see the internals of the amps. They are designed for cold cathode tubes, the ends of the amps have holes in them and you wire the cold cathodes to the amps power, ground and remote lead. So when the amps turn on the cathodes come on as well.

Umnitza is building a cold cathode system for the tc, when they are done I will be installing them. If you like what Umnitza did to the head lamps, wait till you see what we have planned for the rest of the tc!
