But its a test bench for testing different engine parts for Turbine engines.

This is what he designs for (this is not the exact engine that his stand will be used for) but this what type of turbine engines Mooneyez and I work on every day (several of the many different types) Alot I don't have pix of yet..

Pratt and Whitney 901A (worth about 800K or so)

good to see others in the aircraft business! i used to work on(as an overhaul technician) GTCP85 series APU's (auxilary power units), mainly -129's, but we had a few -98s and 185's came through! now i work on Pratt and Whitney PT6T-3 series engines ( as an overhaul technician). I'm still in training but so far it's great! first job i don't dread going into every day!
