i renewed my tags back in July when they expired but then lost them when they came so I still have tags on the car that expired in July but I carry around the receipt showing that I paid for new tags. I've been tailed by cops a couple times but never pulled over so I assume they can pull up my info on their carputer and be able to see that DO have current tags.

Would this be correct Tim?

That would be correct...They will follow you until the info comes back on their handy dandy computer...They might use it as a reason just to pull you over though!

thats why I do the speed limit everywhere and don't do anything illegal :-D. Although I did have my system all the way up in traffic on Baseline the other day and a cop rolled right past me and never pulled me over further down, I was relieved but surprised.

In Arizona it is considered a luxery tax. They charge your registration based on the value of the vehicle. I do not agree with it, but I will not go on that soap box.

They can pull you over 1 day after they expire. Just like thay can pull you over for 1 mile over the limit. They may not, but they still can! Expire is expired. Some of us learn the hard way.

Good timing, Wal-Mart is ending their lay-a-way program this year. November 19th is the last day to put anything on lay-a-way and everything needs to be picked up by Dec. 6th or 9th, I forgot which.

why is wal-mart getting rid of lay-a-way? Not that I use it, but like ... some people use it alot! And so ... in AZ how do they charge based on the value of the car? Is it like a set percentage that goes down with time? Or no? I'm curious to know bc I'm not sure how it is here.

Not as many people use lay-a-way anymore since they can put it on their credit card. If you're going to make payments on something, why wait for it when you can have it now and still make payments.

The age of living within your means is long gone! Why save up for something when you can CHARGE CHARGE CHARGE!!
