I think I missed most of the first round, but this is starting to ____ me off and that's usually not easy to do.

What is on the car that would require it to be in custom? NOPI classed the vehicle during sign up, if NOPI made a mistake I can contact them directly and have them reverse there decision.

I was just giving you a hard time. I was just being funny. I would have thought with the body kit and turbo it would be custom. I honestly do not care, I was not trying to cause trouble. I did not intend on making this a huge debate. Sorry Kelly.

YOU made the mistake in not correcting it in the first place. Enjoy your trophy.

Apparently with NOPI if the body kit is bolt on it is street. The body kit has to be molded in to make it custom. I believe with HIN it does not matter, you’re custom all the way. Again, if NOPI classed the car wrong I will contact them.

I would not worry about it. I did not mean to have this go in this direction. Wow. My post was not intended on doing this.

To be honest. I honestly do not believe this is Kelly’s fault. When we got to NOPI it was such an unorganized mess. All it would have taken was for him to say he had a Scion tc. If they put him in street without his knowledge, that is not Kelly’s problem.

The judges also had no knowledge of the classes. They just put down the class listed on the card in the car (That class number was put on at registration)! Besides it really doesn't matter. Once again! I am sorry this got blown way out! Hell, I think George should have been in Street and not Custom (not sure though).

dagarhart, not your problem or even of your making. Scott is the only one to really even ask the question other than you and I'm sure he's asking with the same curiosity (not complaining) as you.

i'm not complaining, i wanted to know for future reference because i just thought in any competition if you're running a body kit that you're in custom or a higher class.

Congrats on the win Kelly, I'm not trying to take away from that.

I think the judging at NOPI was VERY POOR to say it kindly and majority of the judges did not know what they were doing.

It is a fine, don’t worry about it and I am not upset with you or even 2manystickers. The approach to this is unorthodox. Thank you for posting the results. I am double checking the NOPI rules to make sure nothing was overlooked. If there was a question of the results I would have hoped that would have been brought up to me directly.

Not that it really matters since the show is over and done with, but a little info for those wondering. I've tried to find their class descriptions again, but cant sorry so going off last years information.

Nopi classes are structured different than say shows like HIN and some others.

Kelly's car would be considered street class even with the body kit and turbo. To go custom you pretty much have to start cutting, tearing and replacing parts. Look at last year. Budda had the turbo and several others had body kits but still were street class. But at the same time TRD Racing was classified as Custom and MTCx with Brandon having just a body kit and Scott a partial stereo install. According to their rules only Ron aka awesome tC's car would be considered custom due to the molded in body kit. Could Kelly have pushed to go custom Im sure he could of if he had thought about it. But like most you show up, get classified, park, show and have fun while your there. Pretty much luck of the draw on what class you get unless push for a certain class that you want to be in.

Just going off last yeras info since this year I am not showing and havent kept up on rules and procedures for the shows

should I be concerned about getting Heidis name on there changed to mine since it was a mistake on their part? I dont think it will really matter for me when I put down the win on my sponsorship portfolio do you?

I was honestly just being silly. I would not even go that far. You have a really nice car and deserve the trophy (when it finally arrives). Heck. I thought it was a mistake in the listing or whatever. That was why I was being silly.
