Wow Janice, I wish you would have said something to me sooner. I really don't mean to come off like a **** on the threads. Whenever I move, lock, or suggest something with a thread I actually am doing it in the best interest of our region and i'll explain how.....

I worry that if I dont do something, another super mod will.....in which case I have less control over what happens to the thread which can make it less convenient for the D&S region. When I proposed moving the thread I proposed it as options, where as normally another mod would have just swooped in and moved it or such. Since this thread is being posted in from people by other regions I can still see this hapening but I will humor you and hope that it doesn't happen. By offering to make this just a D&S plate thread I offered to still keep it in our area so we can still recognize plates out there that we see because just as you I would like to spot them as well. I also suggested just having it moved to off topic in case the goal of the thread was to see what other people were creative in coming up with ideas for their plates as well all over.

I consider myself a good mod in that instead of just locking the thread I take the time to offer options and ask input from my peers on what they would like to see happen in their region. Their are cases where I will lock or move a thread without that but I will still post in the thread what I did and why, sometimes evening personally contacting the creator by means of a PM. I ask you to show me another mod that takes the time to do this in their region let alone a super mod that leaves a thread alone and asks what should be done to it instead of just doing it.

One example is that there are two threads currently in D&S for the miami trip, but there were 3 with the 3rd being created by PHXLOCO.......a super mod locked the 3rd one just stating that there was already another thread for that topic. I try to anticipate what a super mod might come in and do and resolve it in the best way before its just dealt with which might not be in the best interest of the region. You call me a **** but I call my self thourough.

An example of my patience or dedication to my roll as a mod is that I'm sure a number of people will agree that when I say i have gone through the thread I created for D&S classifieds links and some links are dead or maybe just not posted in a while I will personally contact them before deleting their post about their link.........even if the link states "this link currently no longer exists" just to make sure that they have really sold their item and I'm not removing it prematurely. I have done this with many people and found that the majority really did sell their item and told me to remove it while thanking me for checking with them first.

Normally I do not rebutle a persons post about me as a mod in the thread because that would then make start to take it off-topic, normally I just contact them directly through PM or begin a new thread. Because you directly attacked me as a mod though I felt it fare in this situation to explain my reasoning behind what I do and and that you please consider it from my point of view. If you still have a problem with the way I mod I do have thread for complaints and feedback and ask that they be posted there. If you wish to get a general feedback from our region if I should be "impeached" in the thread or even create a new thread with a poll on whether or not there should be a new mod please do so. I do not want to be a mod for a region that feels I am not doing a good job or does not obey the rules of Scion life.

Please remember that last part, about the rules that is. When I step in a as a mod it is to help our region follow the rules set forth by Scion life that are supposed to be followed and if they are not threads WILL eventually get locked or moved by a super mod, whether you like it or not. My question to you is...do you want a thread just moved or locked with no checking first , someone to check first and see what the majority would like to happen? I am on the other side of the world right now in Asia and yet I am still doing my best to fullfil my role as a regional mod, I do it because I enjoy what I do and like to know that our region is being well taken care of.

To end this post I would like to say that I have no hard feelings with you of course and appreciate your feedback, as harsh as it may have been. If something bothers you you got my number, give me a call or send me a message and let me know before it gets this bad.
