Anyone know a good place in or around Tempe to get stuff powder coated? Someone who could remove the part, powder coat it, and have the car back and ready to go the next morning would be the best. I can't say more or I might give away what I am planning to do.

 

The only way you would get something back in 24 hours would be if you powder coated it black. Other than it will take about a week plus you have to pull the part yourself. I have had over 40 pices powder coated and it all be from AZ POWDER COATING. Its off Washington by the 143

 

It's going to be hard to find someone to do a 24hour powdercoat....Maybe you can get away with painting the peices instead.

 

I will have some pieces painted, but I figured for that I could just go to the dealership's body shop and have it done. What I wanted powder coated would be my brake calipers and some pieces in my engine bay, such as my intake and strut bar. I can go without a week on the intake, but I can't drive my car with no brakes.

 

Well.. always can go buy harbor frieghts powder coating gun and powder coating and bake it in your own oven. its and Idea.
I was gonig to do the same thing.. I had picked up a freebie oven from a friend but ended up giving it away since I did not do anything with it for 6 months.

 

Good luck on the 24hr turn around. Even if you did it yourself you couldnt do it all n 24hrs. I have a Eastwood powder coating gun system and an oven on wheels Ill rent to you. I cant do anything in my garage anymore.

just as everyone said you typically aren't gonna get a 24 hour turn around with powder coating. Places to are just as boomsters said. AZ Powder Coating off Washinton and the 143.

my girl worked for quality powder coating on 41st and broadway the managers name is charlie patterson you can reach him at 602-437-8083 talk to him tell him rachel sent you and maybe he could have it for you with in 24 hrs. but he is going to charge you for a rush delivery but talk to him see what he says.

 

Thanks. Unfortunately I have to wait at least another two weeks for my car. After that I will be in contact with the people you guys referenced.
