Default Riverview Scion

Ok, this afternoon I had to take my son all the way out to Mesa to have his shunt reprogrammed...For me, this is about a 50 mile drive...So I get there and get a text from the wife stating that there is this "Orange fluid" stuff on the garage floor where I normally park my car...She also said the trail of fluid lead out the garage and down the driveway...I have her send me text pic and she does...From the pic it looks like oil...I have her go across the street to the neighbor so he can walk over and identify the fluid...Remember I just drove 50 miles to Mesa...The neighbor confirms its oil...

I finish my sons Dr appt at around 4pm and go outside to check on my car...Yep, oil underneath my car...I check the oil level, there is oil on the dipstick...

I drive to Riverview Scion and meet the service manager Rich...He immediately takes my car back and my son and I go into the lobby to sit and wait....I'm praying its nothing serious...Within 10 minutes, Rich comes over to tell me that its just the gasket on the oil filter...What a relief...Rich says they were going to do an oil change and use the Mobile 1 synthetic I stopped to pick up along the way...

About 20 minutes later Rich comes in and tells me that my car is done...I ask him where I need to pay and he tells me that he has already taken care of it and that there was NO CHARGE...

Awesome customer service...I had no appointment but yet they got me right in...Fixed the problem quickly and didn't charge me a thing...

I owe a big thanks to Rich and the crew at Riverview Scion...

No kidding...I consider myself pretty lucky...I'm glad my wife noticed the puddle in the garage since the xD does not have an oil pressure gauge...It has an oil light but by then its too late...I'm also glad I was running full synthetic oil..
