I don't have access to the comp with that info on it right now because Karl(our e-commerce manager) is out right now and he is handling the registration fees and all that. He also helps and does a lot of work on the site. He's my right hand man on this project. I'll get the # out at the beginning of the week.

I've called several organizations and e-mailed them too about the sound-off. I haven't been able to get any info at the present time. I will keep trying and keep you all updated. One lady I talked to said three words to me. Here is our convo:
Her: Hello.
Me:Hi, I was calling to see if there was someone that could point me in the direction of how to get a local sound-off event sanctioned.
Her: No.
Me: Uhh...okay, well...uh...Thanks?
Her:Welcome.

That was a jaw-dropper. I'll keep you all updated.

thats horrible man, I'll see if I can get someone to contact you. Please PM me your contact info.
I don't believe I saw an answer to the question as to whether or not people will have access to outlets if they have their own power supplies.

Lighting mods will be good because we are going to have a nighttime cruise down main street and also a bunch of the public will be able to still be there and check it out. We will give everyone a chance to show off their lights right before and during our cruise down main street.

*I have an urgent news bulletin!*
The Sound Off will now be sanctioned by the USACi. Mike Jaffe will be here to put on the event. It will be an event for ALL cars including non-Scion cars but there will be an exclusive Scion Challenge where it will be only Scion vehicles. It will be xA vs. xA, xB vs. xB, and tC vs. tC. There will be trophies and a cash prize. The cash prize will depend on what we can work with on the registration. Right now, registration will be at the tent at the show and there will be no pre-registration because it is a USACi event. Registration for that will start at 1:00 PM and the competition will start between 2:30 and 3:00 and last until 6:00 PM. They should be posting up the info on the internet on the USACi events list shortly. Registration for the competition will be $35 for non-USACi members and $30 for USACi members. Here is a link to the site and to the event calendar:

Another thing...
Remember there will be model car contest and a coloring contest. If you have a model car, bring it and try to win $25. If your kids like to color, give 'em a shot to win $25. Both entries are $2 each.
Again, if you have any questions, just ask.

I'm glad you were able to get it sanctioned, this should make it so much better and leave less room for arguement on the judging. I'm not sure if anyone has signed up for it already or not but you might want to mention what happens to everyones funds that have already registered for the sound off online. As soon as you can post how the classes will be setup like 1000 watts and 1 sub or 2 amps and 2 subs and so forth.

All the setup rules will be on the site. I have no idea what they are right now but I will try to find them and get it on here. If someone has already signed up, it will just take a little more time to get it sorted out at the event. We will either give you a receipt to give to Mike Jaffe when you register or refund you now and you can register at the registration table. Also, you can enter into more than one class. You can enter into the Scion Only Challenge and the Street Beat competition or any other.
