Wow just reread this thread. Sorry but the comment just irks me. All of us have been trying. It's just not as easy in Tucson as it is up North. 4.1 million, compared to 1 million makes a huge difference. Plus I find that the Scion population in Tucson is rather thin. There are a ton of them around but they either do not care about modding, or feel that a car club is rather childish. There are maybe five of us that come to this forum on a regular basis while the rest is dominated by people from Phoenix.

Although I do not own a Scion anymore I promote this site and the Scion community as a whole as does Kevin, Abel, Soupy, PandatC (Geoff), Rick, Wade, and a few others. But it has been a very slow and laborous process that has a few core people that really care about the community. So while I really appreciate the effort that Devon has been putting forth, it's not like others have not been trying.

. I was just giving Devon props for moving to a new city and pushing the scion movement. I know you guys have been trying hard as well and there are only a handful of modded scions down there but again im sorry for that comment sounding like I was baggin on you when I wasnt..

Thanks Chris for the clarification. Much appreciated. I just find it really odd, how the V-Dub people have Tucson meets TWICE a week. Literally, with 25-30 cars showing. Now I know VW is a little more popular, but any more it seems like I see as many V-dubs as I do Scions, so i guess it is frustration on my part(and I took a little out on you). There are some great Scion people here in Tucson, it just seems like the core people's schedules just conflict to a point were GTG's are hard to do.

yeah schedules SUCK!!!!!!!!!!! I'm trying to find another job right now (anybody has any leads down here let me know) but I'm going to stick where I'm at through June after that its day job time.......

still going to try and get out earlier then 10 tomorrow and Sat but we will see

I am sorry it is major conflict of schedules. I would hang anytime, anywhere. Tonight i am going to Phoenix for movie night- but we need to schedule something as a weekly hang out and chat time and just set it in stone- if anyone shows up, then come on, if you can't then we will see you next.

we need to plan this with more time but it would be fun for all to ride down to tucson we lived there for 3 yrs. and it could be fun if we all went for a weekend or so let us know with more time that way my lady can ask for the weekend off at work or work something out.
