first: that mini and that smart is like 1/3 the weight of the xb.......
second: for 15k you could get a turbo, race suspension setup, wide body kit, etc..
i mean.. okay wow.. rear wheel drive.. WOW.. and 15k rpm.. WOW... but come on

need better idea? make the xa turbo and 4wheel drive.. now that would be awesome!!!

I thing they are more like 2/3 the weight (even 1600 sounds light for a mini) but my plans are to go fi with the jdm awd option...since I'm the only xA I saw on this thread.

I appriciate the negative feedback. And yah yer right 15K what was I thinking.
Why do we do alot of the things we do to our vehicles? I'm sure we could use the money we spend on half our mods to do more contructive things with our lives, but we don't, we do what we want because we can.
I'm gonna go ahead and do what I want. of course unless my wife says otherwise. hehe SICK-BURN!!!!

for $15k you could put a V6 or V8 in the front, rwd, 4-link, etc. and make some REAL power. No reason to mess around with torqueless motorcycle engines.

Your right in fact it makes more sence, but I'd like to do something that hasn't been done on an xb and also gas mileage is gonna be better this way. plus I may get to drive in the carpool lane by myself because of the motor. At least thats whats been goin on in a few other states with this smartcar to smartuki upgrade.

bamfxb - you'll want to contact this guy...

Anthony @ 480-234-8092

him and his brother own a fabrication shop and they have put together some very cool things in their shop. last time i was there they were doing a R1 motor conversion into a Yamaha Rhino and were burning up the dunes with it.

good luck.

exactly what I was talking about. That's power and it's got what you really need, torque.
