Your moderator is BACK from Asia! *PIX POSTED*
Well I got back yesterday from my 5 week tour around Asia and I am seriously exhausted. I'm hoping that by the end of this coming weekend I will have pictures posted up but I have hundreds of them to share with you guys, including pictures of the Tiger Temple I went to where I got to sit and pet tigers while having my picture taken. I have some of those on my myspace page if you're curious.
I hope that everyone has been good while I've been gone . I"ll be going through all threads since I've been gone to get caught up on what i've missed. While I was away I tried to get on Scionlife but even when i did i wouldnt have much time so I just gave up after the first two weeks so I haven't been on here in three weeks. If anyone needs anything done now that I have returned please let me know and I will get to is as soon as possible.
Malaysia
This is a game called "snooker". The table is extra long as well as the sticks.
These were taking inside of a 14 story mall in Kuala Lunpur times square. They have their own amusement park and Imax theatre. This mall was amazing with how large it was and what it offered.
Since the host that took me to the mall wouldnt ride a rollercoaster i met someone that would ride in the first car with me.
Hard Rock Cafe in Malaysia
Very popular street in Malasia for street vendors and cheap trinkets. I bought a knockoff pair of sunglasses here that broke the next day
Does this mean that this place would be better than Dairy Queen?
This is the Mercedes 500 owned by the King of Malaysia on it's way to the airport to pickup the king
Out for a night with one of our distributors
Just one of my many training seminar classes
Singapore
The first SCION Corolla
These planters in the middle of the freeway can be removed during a war so the freeway then becomes an air strip for their jets and planes to land on.
No those are turds in a pool, those are all fishing ships.
The editor of the main audio magazine for Singapore that I did an interview with and is going to feature my car in their next issue.
THAILAND
These first pics are from Phuket where they had the horrible Tsunami a few years back.

And you thought gas was expensive for us.....good thing that price is in Thai Baht and not dollars even though its priced per liter and not gallon
These would be a good majority of the Miss Thailand contestants i ran into at the airport.
This would be on the way to the "Tiger Temple". The tiger temple is a Budhist temple that started adopting tiger cubs many years ago that were conviscated from poachers. Since they have had much human contact since they were cubs for only $10 USD you can go down into a canyon and sit and pet the tigers while you have your picture taken. I went back three times in line to get my picture taken so I knew i would get some good shots.
This experience was really awesome and one I'll remember forever. If anyone goes to Thailand I recommend checking this out. The temple is 2 hours outside of Bangkok so it's not to far of a drive for tourists. Hope you guys enjoy these pics as much as I enjoyed having them taken
After the time is up for the tourists to have visitation with the tigers you're allowed to walk the tigers back up to the cages and have your photo taken, so I of course took advantage of that as well.
Since this temple is an animal santuary they have many other animals here that can roam around seen in the pics below.
This is a tiger cub they have that they are still bringing up that we were allowed to see and take pics of as long as we had our flashes turned off to protect its eyes.,
Vietnam
These few pics were taken from the Vietnam War Reminents museum. Outside it looked normal but inside was pretty discomforting with lots of propaganda making the US look like monsters and the Vietnamese look like saints. I don't recommend this as a tourist attraction for anyone visiting Vietnam.
INDONESIA
PHILIPPINES
Another editor from a magazine publisher
These guys are from a TV show in Philippines that is kind of like "Power Block" on sunday mornings in the US. I got to have an interview with them as well.
This would be the nicest room I had on my entire trip. It was a suite with sofa an everything and incredibly comfortable bed and pillows which was nice since almost all beds in Asia are rock hard.
TGIF in Philippines, thank god for American food
They still celebrate birthdays the same though with a goofy song and dance
These girls were from the airline and really saved me to get to Korea since my flight was cancelled and they went around the airport with me the whole time to make sure i got the correct flight and was able to make a call to get a ride when i landed.
SOUTH KOREA
I actually tried octopus that wasn't deep fried, pretty chewy
My distributor took me to a castle that was built back in the 1500's for the "Lee Dynasty" and still stands. Was really beautiful in the area
This is something I just thought was funny. At a toll booth there was a semi truck a couple lanes over hauling a water tank that had fresh squid. What I found interesting is that the trailer had windows to see into the tank and you could see the squid floating around inside and move back and forth when the truck would move and stop.
If you look in the windows you can see the squid, that is fresh seafood right there buddy.

I've always enjoyed that part of the world, and thought the people and countryside were quite beautiful. Nice collection of pics to jog your memory.
Hope your trip was both enjoyable and productive.
(I do think you look just a bit aprehensive in this pic, though...)

With all the work I was really doing this was truly not a vacation. Out of the 5 weeks I was on this trip i usually only had down time on a day when I was flying to another province or country.
