Ok, the day is coming up and there are a few things i will still need from you guys.

I will not take anyones $10/$15 until the day of the shoot. I would also ask that you put the money in an envelope with your name on it to give me. I know this sounds like a drug deal but it is all for good reason.

I also would like to know where you guys would like to meet at. We can meet at my house and shoot from here but I am sure you guys have places in mingd that you would like to shoot. I would liek to get all of the places nailed down by the 15th. This way I can draw up a map for everyone incase there is a red light people will be able to find the rest of the group.

I need your ideas for places to shoot! We can meet in joliet to start the day and work out way into the city but are the places in joliet great places to shoot during the day carlos?

Also, I know I have mentioned to you guys in the past that was asked to shoot an Ultima GTR. If you are not sure what one is here is a picture:


now, going back to why I need the money in an envelope... I talked with this driver about 3 months ago. The price, well lets say is about $990 dollars more than what you guys will be paying. So I do not want him to know what I am doing this for. I am still 100% comitted to taking pictures of each and every one of youe cars but I can not pass on this opportunity. I am booked every weekend and this is the first time he will be able to bring it out. So he will be at our event. Google these cars... they are the fastest 0-100 street legal cars. I didnt think you guys would mind, plus this might draw a bit of attention for continental as well. So please do not talk about the price at all!

What am I looking for? old barns, long winding roads, industrial shots. If you guys know of any places like this please let me know. From post 1 I said I wanted this to be all you guys. I want to be there to take the pics but I would liek you guys to pickl the places... I am already doing a huge amount of work on this day, the last thing I want to do is map it all out on my own. so please help here as well.

again, sorry if you are not happy with this ultima being at the shoot. But he will be there. He will not be in our group shots and will not be in our street shots, but he will have his time to have individuals taken. remember, I will have 3 photographers there shooting.

my wifes college roomate has a barn in their backyard and she lives by ABT (where toca works)

 

/\/\/\ I was just going to say the samething, but it would be no help because its all in wisconsin.

 

OK I will be off this coming friday, a week from today, so please put your ideas together by then. I would liek to travel to all of the locations to nail down a path. If I'm not getting any ideas this day is not going to be "all day" so just make at least 1 suggestion

 

ok i spent the better part of today in joliet looking for places to begin the photoshoot. carlos and i found about 7-8 plases in joliet alone to shoot. this friday i will be finalizing the path.

We will most likely take photos at 3 locations in joliet, we will then travel down 55 into countryside where we will stop at continental. we will then head downtown to finish the shoot.

so max and those of you from farther south, you will not need to make the trek into the city and back out. i will have a finalized path together by friday with a designated meeting point for the morning.

Also, if anyone knows of a good drive in diner that we could stop at for lunch let me know. keep in mind it would need to be in out path of travels.

well you remember my old work place the scrap yard if ud like to shoot there i can try and get clarance for a few hours it would be a real nice spot
