I have no clue what show you're talking about, is it around here? The only one I can think of that's around that time of the year would be the scarecrow festival that's at Woodlawn park in Urbana. It's a pretty good show. There's been more and more tuners at it every year.

elmhurst scion show in elmhurst illinois. date not set yet, but should be august 12.
in the past they have had the 5axis tc, xb limo and more.
also highly attended by supras, mr2, celicas.
one of the best shows of the summer and the best scion dealer show i've been to

I'm down for meet and greet, though I tend to be busy during the week. But hey, classes are almost over! What's this Scarecrow meet? I've never heard about it. Obviously I've never been paid much attention to the tuner culture around here much.

Like I said I'll try and check out the Parkland show, and probably others.

The scarecrow festival is just a deal they do at a park in urbana and on the last day or second to last they do a car show. It used to be just older muscle and vintage cars, but a couple years ago (when I had a mini truck) we started entering and they created a tuner, mini truck, and truck class for the newer cars. But that's not until the end of the summer. The Parkland show is always huge. I'm usually free on the weekends. Whenever is good for you guys let me know. We can make it somewhere easy to get to so everybody doesn't get lost lol. Either that or we can all count on being at the Parkland show.

I'm for sure goin to the Parkland show, I sent in my registration money so I'm comitted. Hopefully my lip kit will be on by then too..

LOL yeah I wanna get the lip kit for my car too, but i'm probably gonna have to wait til next spring for that one. I'll probably just register the day of for the show if I even decide to be in it. I may have to move my g.f. back from school that weekend so I may not be able to stay there for the whole time.

This weekend is gonna be busy for me. I'm planning on going to a baseball game with some friends on Friday, don't know how late that will go. Got plans Saturday night too, plus I've got papers to write for class.

That's cool, I just found out today that i've gotta go to Decatur on Friday anyways. Unless you guys wanna try for a meet next Friday i'd say we just try to meet up at the Parkland show next Saturday.

I entered into it just for the hell of it. My car is no where near where I want it to be but for 5 bucks. Why not. I entered into the Stock Import Class. I plan on being there with a couple of friends.

Yeah I just figured I would put mine in the stock class too. I don't have any other major mods except for exhaust and an intake. But who knows they may move me to the custom lot.

i rarely ever check this forum since it's littered with chicago area folk. but, i might be down for the parkland show. i'm from peoria. my car is mostly stock, so i don't think i'd be entering it. maybe in a year when i have more done to it.
