What's up with Libertyville Scion holding their show the following weekend? According to the postings, this is supposed to be really big.
The Elmhurst show brings in a bunch of out of towners to attend. It would be best if these shows were not so close together. Too much chance of splitting up the attendance.
I will push the Elmhurst Show on SolaraGuy.org. It was the original, Elmhurst Toyota was awesome to us and it has the most planning already in place.
Advice to Libertyville Scion if the date is not written in stone, move the date back a bit. (Into September?)

here is the requested hotel information
(same hotel right next door to the dealership - this time it has a new name and look)
410 West Lake Street
Elmhurst, Illinois 60126 USA
Phone: 1-630-782-6300
map/directions HERE
the rate is $10 more this year, just because it's now a Marriott hotel
it is $79 per night. just call and reserve for the Elmhurst Car Show.
they have set aside about 30 rooms - but they will go quick.

Elmhurst appreciates the push. keep in mind that we are also having the s/c raffle that technically can also fit those 4 cyl. engines in the solara as well...hehehe
