You guys always ask why Schaumburg doesn't do some type of show? Well, we are finally throwing one on the 8th of March. So here it is.....

When: March 8th 2009 from 12 noon to 5
Where: Schaumburg Scion, 875 W. Golf Road, Schaumburg, IL 60194
Please park infront of the Scion showroom or in service parking which will labeled.
Why: Scion xB 6.0 Release Series Recognition Event and Car Show
Giveaways:
Playstation 3 80gb - For Scion Non-owners and late generation owners
$1200 in accessories - $400 per car model (choices explained below)
$300 in cash prizes to top three car show winners + trophies

We have hired a DJ J DIGZ for the event to spin house music. Haha.

Pizza, pop, and energy drinks will be provided as well.


Must register ahead of time by either Pming me or calling me at the work number given below.

First 50 people will recieve either a t-shirt designed by the art institute or 1 gb flash drive.

The non-owner/late model raffle is for those without a Scion or those that own a late generation Scion (xA or 1st gen xB). Everyone non-owner or late model owner that walks in gets atleast one ticket for this raffle. If you have a Schaumburg Scion t-shirt from a previous event or flash drive you get an extra ticket. If you are wearing anything else Scion you get an extra ticket. Example: Someone walks up with a Scion t-shirt, longsleeve underneath, hat, and Scion laniard with our swingblade flashdrive hanging off of it. This poerson will receive 6 raffle tickets. The more tickets you have the better chance you have of winning. Non-owner raffle is for a Playstation 3.

We will be raffling off the 3 Scion owners prizes at 7pm (one for each model excluding xa, and 1st gen xB, sorry guys). The more people you bring in your car the more raffle tickets you will receive for your chance to win a free installed on the spot factory Scion accessory. As soon as you enter through the Scion showroom have your people close so to get you registered and get you all of your tickets. Example: Show up with five people in your car including you, you get 5 tickets towards the owners appreciation raffle.

The tC owner that wins will get to pick between TYC tailights, Fog Light Kit, or TRD Front Strut Brace. The xB owner who wins the raffle will get to pick between Fog Light kit, Pioneer Premium Radio, or TRD Front Strut Brace. The xD owner who wins will get to pick between TYC taillights, Pioneer Premium Radio, or Illuminated Dash and Light kit. All winners will then pull their cars inside to have all accessories installed during the xB car show.

There will also be an xB only car show in recognition of the Release xB. Those participating in the show will also get a chance to be one of the two raffles depending on 1st or 2nd generation xB (see above). There will be a top three contest between the xB's in the service department ( 1st, 2nd,and 3rd place ). 1st place xB wins an $150 and Trophy. 2nd place xB wins an $100 and trophy. 3rd place xB wins an $50 and a Trophy.

This is where I need your guys help. The show will be held in our huge service department. We need 10 modded xBs to be show cars that will be parked inside the service drive. If you are interested, please PM with pics of your xB and modlist. Like I said sorry to the tC and xD owners, this is a show to recognize the sick xB's out there.

The rest of you may bring your cars and park them in front of showroom, but won't be inside the actual service drive.

sounds really nice..haha funny thing is that grossinger is having a similar show on the exact same day..my girl's sister just picked up a 6.0 xB so were probably gonna roll up there. Kinda feel like going to yours though, but im pretty sure you already have plenty of cars.

 

we have our show cars that we have modded as much as possible from scion. but we want owner cars. what kind of show are they doing? figures

 

not too sure, I think its pretty similar to the one your doing..limited xB appreciation. I just know that Kevin over at Grossinger told us to come. He told us that there entire garage is gonna be cleared out and then there gonna host a scion show off in there. DJ, Prizes, Food, and so on. Oh yea plenty of Scikotics and Evolution members are suppose to show up. Hmm I wonder how everything is gonna play out. Oh and the difference with there show and your is that theres is free and your show isnt. However, it sounds like you guys have way better give aways.

 

yeah, not too sure who said a lot of SE members are goin. but this event makes three shows in the region for this date. Grossinger North and a show in Janesville, WI.

 

yea thats what kevin said, i dont know but i talked to a couple guys at Evolutions..they might go iono its pretty much up to them but i doubt there going to head up to WI

 

Busy day for an event, apparently.
I was planning to head to Janesville that day, but I work until 4... might bring my box up to Schaumburg instead, it's the closest show to me.

 

Oh one more thing... you realize, March is still winter. It's tough to get cars show ready when it might still snow.

^^I know thats what I was thinking too...its the same reason I didnt drive my ride out yesterday night.

 

There are two shows that day already. Splitting the community 3 ways is waste of time for everyone. Please move it to another date.

I agree, i already was torn between the Grossinger show and Jennesville one but a lot of Team Echo ppl are going to the WI show. And there is one or 2 maybe going to Grossinger. For the best turn out you guys should pick another date

 

Dude, i would attend.. but already going to Janesvilles show... you should move this up a week... probably get more people and owners to come!!

if you do move just please make sure its not the 14th! my best friend is getting marriend and he would kill me for going to a show instead of being in his wedding

wow let me talk to my dealer. it figures we actually do something, and 2 other dealers are doing one. and we know its winter, so we figured alot of cars were in garages or are on stock wheels and height which is fine. lol

and to the person who said ares isnt free.it basically is. we were at woodfield mall for the last 2 weekends giving away those flash drives and t shirts. and this past tuesday we were at ilumni club. so i mean not that hard to get one of those things lol. we were just trying to get our other events out there, speaking of which..

ILUMNI CLUB again this saturday(2/21/09) and next tuesday(2/24/09). giving away the shirts that the art institue made us and flash drives. and bc we are there ilumni is making it open bar from 9 till 10 30 i bleieve.

 

it was crazy there at ilumni bar this past tuesday. we had 2 flat screens going ,playing wii.and cars out in front. so if you guys can stop by for even a little one of those days,make sure you do, and come see me. the names justin for the ones that dont know me.

man all the teams have other dealers to go. ill be team alone here in schaumburg hahah
