Default Finally, Check My Ride!

This is my first attempt at doing anything custom to any car I've ever owned. All installation, modification, and/or fabrication was done by me (except the alarm install). Ha - that's kinda funny. I'm originally from Aurora and I'm coming down there to visit the family for the weekend. Unfortunately though, I have a pig roast with the kin so I'm probably not gonna make it to Route 66 Raceway. What is going on there, anyway? Is there a forum post about it? If I can make it I will - or maybe I'll catch you on the streets of Aurora over the weekend.

Where did you get the grille to put in the fog light knock-out?

The fog light cover is a black one I picked up at the dealer, cut the hole in it and filled it with a piece of gutter cover that I painted black. Then I put real carbon fiber on it and made the inside "scoop" with a piece of black acrylic.

sweet..the fuji likes..nice job on the catch can.
The catch can is a piece of PVC with caps on both ends, painted black. Then I cut out the "Monster Energy Drink" part from the actual can of product, wrapped it around the PVC, and secured it with double face tape.

Looks nice! Really good job but is that an amp in window?
Yes, that is an amp in the window. You can't really see it from the outside unless you are looking for it.

hahaha yeah it is just begginig to be stolen lol
I was worried about that, too, but I live in a pretty low crime area, it is in a gated lot where I work, kept in a locked garage at night, and I have the alarm. Besides, what is the point of paying for insurance if you aren't going to use it once in a while LOL.

Really nice work! I think I have said before Toasters are not my thing, but I do like nice work. Seeing that you started from zero skils and did all that yourself you should be an insperation to anyone that says they can't do it themselves.

I'm with every one else on the Amp in the window though. It looks clean, but it is like putting up a sign that says steel this car.
