just posted in ur area. im not in chicago, nw indiana, but if they have what we have, ur screwed. for ur sake i hope we r getting the lake effect, but i was on our site, and looks like there were schools closed today.

 

I read 4-8 inches to in chicago. Is there already snow or ice on the ground to go on top of that?! or was it clean to begin with . . .

 

ur screwed. news just went by, 5-8 in the city, 8-12 south, over a foot in other areas through tonight.
the old snow was pretty much gone, but this came down pretty quick

 

The roads were clear before this.

I'm not in Chicago - 120 miles south, but I was up there Saturday and Sunday.

 

I'm 2 miles West of the city. I can tell you that we currently have about 6 inches here. It is still snowing. We're expected to have between 8 and 10 total by tonight with 50+ mph winds.

I think you should be fine tomorrow, provided we don't get too much more. The streets are passable. So O'Hare & Midway should have things together also.

It's bad out their. Snow, winds, snow with winds and so on... Can't belive i went to Uof I at Chicago today. All of my teachers, but one wasn't there. Hope i dont have to go tommarrow.

 

i cant see my fire hydrant anymore. glad i pay subdivision dues and they havent gone down my street.....AT ALL

ok, the snow.. fine.. but FVCK the wind!!!! thigh high snow found its way AROUND and ON TOP of my car today... and more lake effect snow expected overnight..

 

yay, no work today either!!!! woohooo
and took of friday and sat. that means a one day work week if theres work tomorrow

 

The roads are better today except for the people that over react to the snow, and the idiots that still talk on their cell phones and not pay attention to the roads.

Do us all a favor and stay alert and off the cell phones!!!

 

well i didnt even make it home yesterday i had to stay in a hotel...the weather by my work really sucked.
