the cop waited?! that's ___...nothin else better to do I spose than bother a car with no front plate. I mean, there must not be anyone speeding or driving crazy, dealing drugs in a parking lot somewhere, imean geez...

Well, I put the plate on with zip ties and she took it to the station. They were satisfied and voided the ticket, so I'm happy. I'm sure this won't be the last time this happens though...

I think it's funny that you can get pulled over for a plate, but up until 2003, a cop couldn't give you a seat belt ticket unless they had you pulled over for something else

like I said. waited to bust fro a missing plate, but always 5 minutes late when crime has been commited. I guess they were waiting to bust someone else for a missing plate.

cops must think they have nothing better to do than watch cars and eat donuts than stop drug busts and robbery's. god knows in high school i could've always told the cops when a drug deal was going on as i lived near 2 drug houses (one being a meth lab) and i lived in a good part of town. but cops didnt do a damn thing but pull us over for stereo's, and "trespassing" on the cruise strip or parking lots where owners said it was ok.

I'm in and out of Chicago every other week, live in Madison and have never put a plate on my car. Never been pulled over. And, I have pretty dark tint and springs, so maybe I'm just lucky. But I agree with lovetC, if anything happens (pulled over/ticket) just make something up. If you are nice to them and let them think they own the world they will go away.

I never had a front plate on my car, and my car is all decked out so cops pay attention to it. Never got pulled over for that though.

If anybody els loves driving with out the plate and needs a set of bumper plug set me know. Color matched FTW!

yeah yeah. Some would call it a ticket. I call it a donation to the great cook county. That's all.

the damn dealer drilled holes in bumper cuz i forgot to say anything, but im gonn abe getting them patched up or get a new bumper cuz it looks way cleaner.

i noticed that cops seem to profile nicer cars.
i see minivans everwhere that dont have front plates because theres nowhere to mount them, yet when they see a nice car or a car with mods they pull it over right away for no front plate.

My buddy got pulled over in his M3 for this, but he doesnt have a place to put his either....

not fair.
