Hey there everyone,

Quick question: Does anybody know of a good place in Chicago to do some paint touch-up work? My dad's mercedes for some reason is getting some rusty patches on the lower drivers side on the sill below the door, no idea why because there's no dings or scratches. It's almost 5 years old so maybe it's just from the road salt every year, but regardless the paint is chipping and there is some rust setting in.

He wants to sell it in a few months and is looking to get it touched up before he does. There is a body shop he used to go to but they're really pricey, although good. He's planning on going back there but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask you guys. Or if any of you run shops or have friends who run shops I'd love to help give you some business.

my wifes college roomates brother does work like this and does a very good job. and since he's gonna do a bunch of work for me soon (hopefully) wouldnt hurt to get him some more money :-D

to give u an idea, he built up, painted, worked on, etc his dodge dart, and he painted his sisters hood to make it look better when they were gonna sell it.
if u want me to get a price and time frame, let me know.

Thanks a lot for the heads up. I appreciate all the input I got from people, but it turns out this place is about 3 miles from my dad's office so he went there and they did a fantastic job. Quick, good work for a good price.
