Poker Run 2009 in Da Zoo 3, Saturday August 1st, 2009 <---I Could use a New Logo for this Event, if someone has the tallent to make a new one please let me know (Thanks).

Kalamazoo's 3rd Poker Run and BBQ.


Registration will start at 11:00am, Lunch will be served at Noon, and the Poker Run will Start at 1:30pm. Dinner at 5:30pm, Photos and Fun at 6:30pm (more details below).

The 24' x 28' Heated/Air Conditioned Party Garage




This is how the Day will run.

11:00am---> Gates and Party Garage Opens for Final Registration and to pick up Poker Run Info and Supplies.

Noon------> Lunch ---> Hot Dogs and Hamburgers with all the Fixens, Chilly, Beans, Potato Salad, and enough junk food to add 5lbs for those looking to pick up a little weight.

1:30pm----> First Car Ready to start the Poker Run. (Poker Run info Below)

4:30pm ----> Last car returns from the Poker Run.

5:00pm-----> Poker Run Awards, and some Fun :D

5:30pm-----> Dinner---> BBQ Chicken, Steak and Shrimp on a Stick (Skewer) with Veggies. Fresh Greens (salad), Fresh Veggies, and more.

6:30pm----> 15/20 minute Parade Lap on Westnedge Ave and a little Fun and Photo Time at a Special Location. (don't forget your two way Radios !!!)










OPTIONAL !!!!!!!! $100 FREEROLL at 9pm !!!!!!!!

9:00pm----> A Real Texas Hold Em $100 FreeRoll (No Cost to enter) Tourney with a Professional Dealer and Free Lessons too.

Midnight----> Bomb Fire and Smores, This should be Fun for all those who Survive the Day. :D



We will have Soft Drinks, Hot Chocolate, Coffee, and Hot Tea to drink.

Please (BYOB) Bring Your Own Booze or Beer. you can use our Huge Fridge We have in our Party Garage if you don't want to Haul a Cooler. We also have lots of Extra Coolers if needed.

Our Last Stop in the Poker Run just hapens to be at Hoffmans Party Store, just around the corner from my Home. :D Hoffmans Party Store has a Huge selection of Ice Cold Beer, Wine and Booze at Fair Prices. :thumbup:

Free Breakfest Sunday 08-02-09 around 10am for those of you who have Passed Out (we have room for a dozen) Saturday Night. Sunday Morning Breakfest, Two Eggs, Breakfest Meats, Hashbrowns, Juice, Coffee and Two Asprin or more if needed..

If you would like to stay at a Hotel/Motel let me know and I'll get to work on getting everyone a Discounted Rate.






The Poker Run will start at 1:30pm and will include Hundreds of Twisties in 60 miles and last about Three Hours, give or take 30 minutes.

Drivers (and Your +1, if you bring one) will leave my House with a Time Sheet and instructions to your First Check Point. One Car will leave my house every few minutes till everyone is on the road.

We will have Seven Check Points along the Route for you to Perform a Easy Stunt (don't forget your Video Camera ;) ) or Answer a Easy Question to receive a Playing Card. Also the Driver Closest to the Average time between Check Points will receive a Extra Playing Card at the end of the Run, for each Check Point they Win (2 extra card max.).

This is Not a Speed Event, Please Follow all Traffic Laws and Drive Smart.

Best (1st place) and Worst ( 2nd place) FIVE Card Poker Hands Win. Two of your Extra cards will be used to break any ties if needed.


Prizes will be Awarded to the Winners and we will have an Event Magnet for all the Drivers. :thumbup:


Registration Fee for the Poker Run and BBQ is only $40 for the Driver and $20 for Your +1

The Driver Registration Fee helps cover the cost for the Poker Run Supplies and Prizes, Event Magnet, Lunch and Dinner. The +1 Fee is to help cover the cost of Lunch and Dinner.

All you have to bring to the Poker Run Party is your Car, Booze/Beer if you want to drink AFTER the Poker Run, TWO WAY RADIOS and a Camera. Kim and I will Supplie everything else we will need to have a Great Time.
