Default Scion tc s/c install -Dealer pricing

I live in WI and having on heck of a time finding a dealer to install the supercharger at a reasonable price. I currently only know of 1 in Illinois who is charging $4554 for the complete install. That is ridiculous. Even if you paid $3200 for kit and $600 for a 6hr install are we paying another $ 700.00 to reflash the ECU. The reflash piece if purchased separately is only about $ 400-$500. I have not purchased the s/c yet but was looking to do so by 2/06. I wanted to know if anyone else was thinking about purchasing and maybe we could pool together and purchase the reflash tool as group. I heard mention on this site of someone renting out the tool also but I have not heard much more about to date.

Any input would be appreciated.

It's supposed to be what you described. ($3800 installed price) that would include the reflash, as it's part of the installation. The dealer absorbes the scan tool for a one time charge of $400-500 and only needs to buy one.

No I haven't even purchased the s/c yet. I will be purchasing it in next 2 months. Preferrably in late January or February 2006. But $3600 is a respectable price I will be considering that offer ScionDM.

Thanks for the info
