SE:Chicago presents DRIVE 4 FIVE hosted by Continental Toyota/Scion

What is it: The first major community involvement project put on by Scion Evolution Chicago that is geared towards collecting non-perishable goods to be distributed to "5" families for Thanksgiving meals.

Where is it: Continental Toyota/Scion located in Countryside just off of Joliet Road and LaGrange.

When is it: Saturday November 11th from 12pm - 4pm RAIN/SNOW OR SHINE

Why: To increase awareness in the community on the importance of donating to help make a difference.

How: With the constant support that we receive from Continental Toyota/Scion we have been able to set up a great show that should help get the Scion name out there in the community. We will be collecting food to be donated to families acquired through the United Way.

Here are the in depth details on the event:

Roll in begins at 11:30am.

In order to enter the event, you must present 3 (three) non-perishable goods that you would like to see on your Thanksgiving table (stuffing, cranberry sauce, soup, etc.), to the staff at the gate (myself as well as a few other board members and possibly a representative from United Way.)

Cars will be judged and trophies will be awarded to the best in each category as well as some specialty trophies. Here are the classes

Best tC (1,2,3)
Best xA (1)
Best xB (1,2,3)
Best overall Scion
The remaining trophies will be awarded to "special categories" selected by the dealership.

There will also be a raffle added into the event. Here are the rules on the raffle:
For every non-perishable item that you donate, you will receive 1 (one) raffle ticket.
There is no limit on the number of raffle tickets you may receive
You may only donate 1 (one) of each item for the raffle. (you will only receive 1 (one) raffle ticket for 2 (two) cans of the same soup. However if you donate chicken noodle and clam chowder, then you would receive 2 (two) tickets.) This will ensure that we have a wide array of items to present to the families.

*UPDATE*
I have teamed up with a local company "Prefered Builders" and purchased 2 bean bag game setup. They will be providing the games and bags at a discounted price. I will be bringing the 2 sets of these games to the show for a bean bag tournament. Buy-in for a team will be $10 and the winners will go home with the set of bean bag games. That is a $200 value that I am donating. If you are interested in getting in on the tournament please post that next to your name on the roll-call. Sign up!

So far we have aquired dontations from ABC Electronics, Hollywood Motors Inc, and Pilson Auto Glass.

So we are sure to have some great raffle prizes! oil changes! tints! electronics! all pf those for the cost of a canned good! Your crazy if you dont go!

remember for each canned good you bring you get a raffle ticket for these great prizes!
