torque damper?????

Default torque damper?????

i have the air intake and the boral exhaust on my car, but is the torque damper worth the $150?? can anyone let me know the positives and negatives to the torque damper?

positives are hard luanches are bad on the motor mounts damper will help keep the engine in check

negatives are rattles inside of your car like crazy !!!!!!!

Torque Damper's work great to reduce wheel hop. However I do have to admit I am surprised no one has built solid poly mounts yet. Or atleast not that I have seen. They would have the same effect on wheel hop and not have the negative effect of interior noise.

I have the Ingall's ETD...It helps Improve Acceleration through tight turns and going uphill and other driving conditions...

YES...the only time it vibrates is at "Idle"...I dynamatted mine...So its Not TOO bad...I mean theres a little shaking I can tolerate it!...I think its a Cool Mod to have!

For the cost of the damper, I highly recommend just replacing the mounts with some speed source engine mounts. I took my damper off the second I put those on. I absolutely couldn't stand the rattles that thing would put out.

i tweaked mine so it would only rattle when i had the a/c on at idle

well i have the weapon R engine damper for my xA you just twist it too loosen it some while its installed on the car... idk about the ingal stiffy though

agreed on this part! if you're resisting vibration on one end, it will deliver it to the other end. i honestly dont think its worth it.
