IMO the doors don't look great on:

1) Cars with full window frames;

2) cars with very square doors;

3) Cars that have BOTH full framed windows and squared doors.

It just looks like a big flat slab of metal swinging around. Some cars do look good with them though: 350Z, Corvette, etc. All the door kits I've seen on the tC make the front panel gap with the front fender look like ___, like the car got in an accident.

Munch, I like the idea of being able to use the doors normally. What kit are you using? Wing Doors?
