what might work... try selling those items through your online store. that way you dont need to keep it in stock, rather you can just ship it directly from your seller to your buyer and make a small profit in the middle... this will also allow you to get these items at a cheaper price.

have lots of hot chicks work for u. yeah i know that sounds dumb, but how many of u would go to talk to them and end up buying little things every time u go. thats what i thought! ofcourse also have knowledgeable ones.
heres a few things that the very successful stores in ny have:
vinyl cutting machines
exhaust in stock
intake in stock
shifters
alarms installed
remote start installed
tinted windows
wheels on display
and if u cant install it, have a place u can send them to get a discount. one of my fav. shops had a store he would send people to for getting work done and the store owner would pay the installer (and got a discount for sending people that way)
have good music playing
and if u really ambitious, one of the stores had a barber shop too. if u get people to the store, they r likely to buy something. i've always wanted to have a tanning salon at a shop so the girls would go tan and guys could spend their money :D

I want everyone to know that I do know what im getting into, and I've been doing research for almost two years. I've been working so that i could open my own store, thats really all i've been saving for. Now its finally time to have my dream come true. I have talked to other business owners and got their input and do's and donts of the business world. I have put in alot of time and effort to make sure my business would be a very successful one. The reason why i would like to sell alot of different things in my store is so people could come to me for everything that they may need. When starting a store you have to go all the way, not just half. My store isnt going to be just a store, its going to be THE store that everyone can goto and chill out (after you buy something) The store will have a corner with a sofa, coffee table with import magz, a T.V. and DJ Equipment. I will let everyone know exactly when the grand opening will be so you could request the day off. Keep the input coming because you scion owners and everyone who loves making their car who they are, is whats going to make this business succeed.

Ok people, I have a problem. I was in a meeting on tuesday with the city of joliet, zoning department and they dont want to let me get zoned for installations. First they said that the lot wasn't big enough so the owner of the property said that he has an additonal lot in back that we could use, then they said people in that area dont want that kind of business there. How do they know. they were being very unfair and didnt even hear me out. So now i eighter have to look for another location or find someone with connections with the city, to get it pushed through. THIS SUXS!

how odd that you need someone in joliet... my uncle works as a utilities administrator in joliet. not sure if he could help but i can put in a call... he asked for some design work from me... so maybe if i do the work for free, and he does some work for you, you can do some work for me?

cant you always write a letter to the city halls town and explain your reasoning as to why you wanna open up and to why it would benefit the community. Get petitions, epseicially young kids there dumb they would sign anything. Go out for a day and just ask peeps and explain yourself. Community peeps are always a$$holes about everything. If its not to there personal refrence rather than the town itself they can care less what you wanna do.

there is a shop with a garage close to where I live. I am sure that is zoned for installs since there a shop door. It's at the rt 30/Caton Farm intersection behind Meineke. Scope it out.

I've been negotiating on the shop in back of meineke for a month now, sorry i havent keep you guys updated ive been really busy. I just signed the contract on it but they still have to finish the store. looks like i will be open around mid june. Its going to happen for sure now so get ready. Also i will be selling the tcover so if a group of tc owners want them let me know how many to order so i could give you guys a good deal, if no reply i will only order 4. For my grand opening i will be raffling off a set of tein springs and have another raffle for $2 bucks a ticket for your chance to win a set of rims. I will keep everyone updated and the exact date of my opening.
