Default Fastest NA 1/4 mile time TX style

Saw in tC owners lounge this thread so I thought I would make it a regional thread. This is only for NA cars. Boosted people get your own thread.

Rules: post time with mph, aswell as a list of performance mods. No need to post slip unless time is questionable.

With that being said, imy best time is 15.32 @ 89mph. Mods are Injen CAI, Megan header/s-pipe, Tsudo axle-back,TWM 25% Short shifter, and Energy Suspension Polyeurethane motor mounts.

Yeah thats what i was running against. He wasnt too happy when he lost to a stock scion. Him and his exhaust, intake, headers. So he said. We wouldnt pop the hood for me.

I have yet to get to a 1/4 mile... BUT on the 1/8th mile I have.....

Reaction Time ---- .6348
60ft. ---- 2.3169
330ft. ---- 6.4631
1/8et ---- 9.9583
1/8MPH ---- 71.55

Track had some slick starting issues.. and I need to get mounts. I'm betting with Engine Mounts and some better rubber.. better times..

Mods are in my Sig... **note** I had a megan header and S-pipe at time of run.

Yes, the mounts will make a difference they are just a pita to install, so far my best is 15.9 on the 1/4 with fujita intake, tsudo cat-back, fidanza short throw, nitto neo-gen tires, arospeed springs and I did the coolant bypass on the throttle body. My time would be much better, but I need more practice with my launches.

R/T - .193
60ft - 2.201 (best launch for me ever in this car)
1/8 et - 9.807
1/8 mph - 73.812
1/4 = 15.292 @ 90.664

Mods in siggy. The guy in the TSX next to me wasnt too thrilled, he did a 15.7 after telling my how wimpy the 2.4 in my car was compared to his 2.4

Last edited by TJKASS; 01-01-2010 at 06:08 AM. Reason: added R/T

15.83 at Thunder Valley Raceway, Noble, OK

Strup header
Tsudo axleback with custom s and mid pipes
Injen intake
B&M sport shifter
Ingalls engine damper
Eibach sportline springs

I don't like running at this track because none of the imports get traction... lol

Looks like the motor mounts did help you out some! have you thought about the engine damper? I heard its a killer combo

stock scion tC, no muffler, just glasspack and tip, stock air intake, and no second gear synchro.

1/4 mile time- 15.53
1/8 mile time- 9.92

DALLAS RACEWAY, Crandall, Tx.

need to go back, new tranny and exhaust now, should be wayyy better.

Best 60 ft time I ever had with 400 treadwear Pirelli's with motor mounts was 2.27. Anything in that range is pretty damn decent unless you're running stickies or an LSD. I'm boosted now but the 60' doesn't change apparently lol. Trap and ET on the other hand does! I'd like to see a sick NA build one of these days...
