I'm putting together another free car show here at the D' Sunday October 29, 2006
Halloween themed so get your costumes tailored and get ready to go.
I'm going to try to top the spring car show and we have moved it to sunday instead of saturday to give us a little more parking room. We have taken alot of your comments into consideration as far as parking and everything and I believe we are going to make the spring show look tiny.

this is the day after the exposed event in sa. post up show times. i will try to make it , depending on the time frame.

 

We were going to start registration at noon but we have decided to move that back to give the people coming back on sunday from expo some time to get here so the show will now start at 2pm and go till around 7/8pm. I am starting to put everything together now so any ideas on what the show should include would be helpful.

2pm. to 7pm.

 

2pm would be perfect. just enough time to make it back, get the rides cleaned up, and then show. what all are you expecting to include at the show? food, music, door prizes, drawings? what are the competition classes?

 

free food/games/stuff to do for kiddos/door prizes and usually a live dj. im going to see gary tonight about the event ill let you guys know what we can come up with.

 

The last show we had free food, a female dance group, car toys sound off, door prizes, we gave a free set of wheels away, parts gift certificates, trophies, geico gave out some big green lizard hands, the different car clubs set up boths and handed out liteature about there clubs, we had a little bit of everything.

The halloween show I expect will have a lot of the same.

I am trying to get the Okay for some moonwalks and an inflatable obstacle course.
This is going to be on dealer property so liability stuff is an issue, but I believe the owner of the place will let me do what I want.

I will also do a costume competition because I think it would be cool to see nestor dresed up like a playboy bunny.

And I will more than likely have the same Sound equiptment as the last show accompanied by the diva by nature girls, If they have this date open on there schedule.

Like I said earlier we are in the very early stages but if you were at our last show you know that when we do a show we try to make it pop.

I am going to order trophies on monday.
I am trying to get some idea of what kind of scion attendance we will have so anyone planning on attending please speak up.

So far we are planning on ordering
5 differnt trophies scion specific.

Best Overall Scion and Best Scion Club in show.
There will also be other trophies that are not scion specific such as best paint, best mods ,best interior, and so forth that after seeing some of ya'lls cars I believe will also be going home with scion owners, but anyways it would be helpful to kind of get a preliminary poll of people that are at least planning on trying to make it.

Count Scikotics In!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I don't know if you can pull off a succesful scion show without the scikotics so having ya'll here is going to be great.

Oh and before I forget I really apreciate ya'll staying after at the last show to help us straighten up. That was really cool, and we here at Tejas are looking forward to having your group here.

 

not sure how many of TEAM SCION EYED will show up but we will be there ..........

Look everyone I just wanted to let you know that we have also decided to give double prize entrys to anyone that comes to the show that attends EXPO.
So dont forget to bring back some kind of sovenier from expo and we will enter your name twice for our big door prizes.

Ok great that is almost every club that I know of attending in whole or in parts.
Good I cant wait to see everyones cars since the spring show I've heard some major mod's have been done to some of your cars and I am looking forward to seing how everyones cars have evolved since then.

I will be there with the rest of the TSE crew. I will have to do a massive cleanup on the B though.....she has been negelected lately.

 

It looks like I'm gonna have a full house with some of the best rides in town I am really looking forward to seeing everyone again.
