Do NOT breathe the nitrous!!! Yes, it is laughing gas, but in a MUCH more concentrated form! It can freeze the air sacks in your lungs and will kill you!!!
Nitrous is legal in Texas, but its use cannot be associated with illegal street racing or reckless driving.
My advice: If you intend on racing at the track and only have the system installed for that purpose, then close the bottle, purge the excess nitrous, and disconnect the feed line from the bottle. This way, if you get caught speeding, the officer cannot claim you were using nitrous for illegal purposes. If you intend on using nitrous for street racing, try to install the system in as stealth a way as possible...totally out of sight would be best, get yourself a remote bottle opener, and a good excuse. You might also want to find a good attorney while you're at it. Street racing fines, vehicle impounds, etc., add up REALLY fast!
