I am moving to the Stillwater area in August and am looking to meet up with the local crowd. I have a BCP 05 xB almost all stock except independent fogs and cleared headlights.
Speaking of moving - anyone know who's hiring in the OKC, Stillwater, Tulsa area? I currently am a co-supervisor at a warehouse.

Also, just a word of warning...if you are driving a modified car, don't drive around with your fog lights on. The Stillwater PD likes to pull people over because they have a hard-on for drunk drivers.

Anyone else going to make it out? A friend of mine (the guy that owns the Q I'll be driving) has thrown out a friendly wager. Those of you that have not been out with us, if you beat him in the Q45, he'll pay for your entry fee. ...if you don't beat him, well, you still had a good time trying, right? And you won't own him anything.

Ah right on. I was one of the guys driving the LS1 RX7. Not my car (or the sweet tow rig), but that thing was pretty fun.

There are lots of tracks in Texas.
I believe the fee for the day is $95 (+$5 gate/entry fee) and then $35 for your DE School (required for your first time at Hallett). If you'd like to rent a transponder it's an additional $20 (good for tracking progress), and if you'd like covered parking it's $15...I believe.
...plus gas, food, and expendables (I'd recommend an extra set of brake pads and rotors and some good fluid, just in case)
The Finish Line Cafe (onsite restaurant) has some really good food (lunch is typically $8-$12).

track days are expensive i see. im planning on getting a bbk for my car anyway depending on how much i have left over after my build. i mayy be interested in some 800-850 cc injectors as well.
