Smart Note is a program that basically splits yor payment in half and takes it out of your account every 2 weeks instead of once a month. Just like doing Bi-Weekly payments on your mortgage. You pick up a payment a year.

If you can afford to do it, I think it is a good idea. If you have to watch your account like a hawk to make sure you are going to have the money in there, you may not want to do it.

Yes do that! In fact if you are able to make weekly payments EVEN BETTER. You should see what happens when you add 50 dollars to each of your biweekly payments.......debt starts getting swallowed up much faster.!

Damn! How long has this been around?!? I have my account set to automatically send out a payments every other week but I would have preferred to have signed on to a program like this in the beginning!

It's definitely worth it! And the more you can pay, the faster you pay off your car. You'll save a lot of money on interest. I pay about $100 MORE a month ($50 more every other week) and right now I'm about 3 months ahead on my payments.

I didn't know about that, I just pay extra (whatever I can afford) over the normal monthly statement.

I've gotten a letter in the mail telling me that I don't owe anything on my car till March 15th.

Also since I have my loan thru toyota Financial...I can check out my due date online.

My B was like that for a while(payment not due for like 6 months). I finally just paid it off all the way. The Smart Note is good because most people will say that they will pay more, but they never do. It forces you to amke an extra payment.

Scion Guys, I may be down for that...Just make sure I don't have to ride on Ice again!!! The ligthweight xB got a little squirley on the ice last year.

Which should i bring, the RS1 or the S/C tC?
