Many thanks to all that were chosen to particiapte and actually showed up in the cold rain and especially to those who even inquired to the e-mail. Although there were frustrations that grew only from the "import" portion at Intercrew, the filming of Dallas will still be great regardless because it will establish the fact that Dallas, Texas has the same, if not stronger, automotive scene and retailers just as any other major city across the nation, specifically in the areas of the high end, luxury market, drifting - ProjectNissan.com chosen as the filming location, and the typical imports - Intercrew Auto Salon chosen as the filming location. Unfortunately, since it wasn't a "race" filming, it was not possible to place all vehicles that had just any engine mods on the set, specific body types and colors were chosen - as with any show, music video, movie, etc. Those vehicles will definately be chosen to show off their speed and horsepower for other filming.
So, it seems that if there are still any misunderstandings, Dan with DFWCC has chosen to clarify it real soon that of his group, only 6 vehicles were finally selected at 1:30 A.M. the morning of the shoot due to his lack of cooperation. But, he still neglected to inform his members before all meeting up and heading on out to the shoot together, that only a specific 6 were already selected from his e-mail. He failed to notify the film staff that those six were not available and took it upon himself to bring un-requested vehicles to the closed set. We still gave opportunity to the ones that showed up to make the best of the situation Dan caused. Other non-car club vehicles that were on their way, were asked to not even come due to this. Dan was, regrettably, given a lot of slack; he was the only, single individual that was given special deadline privleges or any privleges for that matter. Project Nissan owner contacted typical drift vehicles for the drift filming, contrary to popular ideas that 16Niss had special notice or private shoots. The whole, 4 days of filming was organized and running smooth as silk, until Dan chose to go against specific instructions. Despite his actions, it did not distract any flow of filming at all. But the ones that stayed still stuck it out in the cold rain, even though their president chose to leave them alone at the set, knowing that he would have had a huge group of his angry members in front of him had they only known the truth.
