so...what was the reason for taking it in
no start..right??
did they give you an estimate after the diagnosis??
or did they just fix it?
did you tell them to " Just fix it!." ??

sorry, I work @ a Dealer (not Toyota or Scion) Service Dept
and hate to see this kind of thing
unless they deserve it
we never do any work unless authorized by the customer
our manager gets ____ed if we are 5% over our estimate

this obviously was not a warranty issue (or you would not have paid)
was the problem caused by something you did
i read about teh fuse replacement
how many labor hours went into diagnosing the fuse??

speaking of complete idiots
WHO paid $127 for a fuse replacement
not the dealer........

well the fuse thing drama i kinda understand becuase of the diagnosis so im pretty much over that part but its the towing now but i still know that it would cost 127 for what they did they told me that the would start to work on the car in the morning and i got it back the same day

i feel ya on the tow
i thought we had free roadside too...i never had to use it

but what was the actual cause of the fuse failure
did the $127 include the guarantee the fuse wont blow again
what component was the fuse for or what is on that circuit
a 2 amp fuse is pretty easy to blow ( not a lot of current )
but having a 2 amp fuse tells me that the circuit would have control modules and/or other electronics ( low power consumption)

did they tell you any of this???
