Default Turbo friendly inspection in Texas?

I'm taking a new job soon in the Houston area but scared I'm going to have problems with my turbo and the cat-delete downpipe. How strick are the emission and inspection law in Texas?

A little extra cash to the guy doing the inspection never hurts either. If you have an AFC, lean out the idle and 2k settings right before you do the inspection if they check emissions.

You need to be careful where you decide to move to in the Houston area. Houston's metro area is in Harris County, but many residential areas extend well beyond Harris County. In Texas, you have to be inspected in the same county in which you live. For example, I live in Montgomery County, just north of Tomball. I cannot get my cars inspected in Tomball even though I am only 2 miles away because Tomball is still considered Harris County. Find out where you are going to be living, then the list of places can be narrowed down.
If you are in Harris or Montgomery Counties, let me know, and I'll hook you up. I've got friends that run a few places around these areas that will ignore any mods. As long as your blinkers, headlights, brakelights, and horn work, and the car will pass the emission test, they will give you a sticker. If it won't pass the emission test, you may still end up with a sticker, but it will cost you a bit more.
