Lol, My car has about 80k Miles on it and all that abuse I put it thru takes its toll which is why my sway bar broke(Not to Mention I was Pwning BMW's). The Wheel stud thing was a completely different unrelated event, but its definitely what ever you feel safe with.

the wheels studs, that's not from auto-x that's from doing a lot of wheel changes (which can be from auto-x if you swap wheels around and dont start your lugs by hand) or from having aftermarket wheels with a crazy offset putting stress on the outer most part of the lug.
you're more likely to damage the car parallel parking then autocrossing. it's not like rallycrossing where you can expect $100-200 worth of plastic trim/body part damage per an event.

And hell, i wasn't even thinking about the possibly body damage but thats another thing to think about.
You think Mo is going to autoX his car? I don't know but I wouldn't if I were him.
My thing is that I know I could do the autoX'n with my suspension and brakes. I just don't have the money IF something were to happen. So I'd rather be safe than sorry.

You wont break anything. Other peoples mishaps should not be an excuse for you. Worst thing that could happen is you run over a cone.
If you can drive your car to work, you can drive it in an auto-x. On the flipside, if your car can't handle an auto-x run it shouldn't be driven on the street anyhow because it's not safe.

a very true valid point every car should have a monthly autocross tech inspection
