hahaha, no, you misunderstood, i'm using my wheels and tires, but if you want, you can borrow my stock rims with some all season tires on them. they aren't completely bald, but they should do better in autox then winter tires. the low tread depth shouldn't be an issue unless it rains.

viet the ptuning box should be fine. ur regular box would prolly do alot better cuz its got alot of the right mods but thats irrelevant. since ur tryna get ur feet wet the white box is just fine. maybe u'll like it more this time and wanna bring out the black one next.

ok you guys. tell a friend. we need to get the second half of the list full. one month to go!

honestly Sap, tell them about this event. they wouldnt be able to run for free as scions but there will still be a heat for them to run their non-scions and every sign-up helps Nasa continue to put on their great events. so DEF tell them to come out!!! they just gotta pay to run.

i know my black box has a lot of the right mods but its a show car so im never gonna autox it...just cant risk it. i'll take it down the 1/4 mile and thats about all. im not looking to get competitive at racing or anything. i just wanna try it out because memphis car audio is sending me a fulmer racing helmet. i got a helmet now so i wanna use it. lol if i continue to suck at autocrossing, that helmet will become a show peice as well. lol

by all means let them know. NASA is always looking for new blood to grow the sport

ironic. i've thought of doing the same thing on a yaris build. a k03 on that 1.5 still cant help but spool fast being the size of a roll of tape lol. and should be pretty reliable.

yeah i have a handful of them around, including a k03sport from when i wrenched on vws and audis. it shouldn't be laggy and shouldn't run out of breathe too bad at 6,300 rpm on the 1.5l

This should be so fun! Hopefully my car will be in running condition seeing as though every 2 races I tend to pop a motor.
Just a heads up, it is in the works right now... Lustine Scion/ Scion sponsered camp-out and track day at Summit Point.

Now that is what I'm talking about! I've seen enough PCA and BMW events at racetracks. I want to see more Scion events

But props for this, and past, autocrosses put on by Scion. That is definetly the first step

well it's looking like i will have SS lines, and oh yeah a 6 piston front brake setup by the event now

i'd love to have fabbed up brackets to have my OEM fronts on the rear by then, but that'll be a winter project.

just wait til winter, boost is coming, in modest form, but hey it's boost and the car will still look totally stock (minus being mildly lowered and sitting on panasports, which will hide the brakes pretty well actually. nobody will suspect a thing...
