Viet didnt notice any difference lol. from when I have driven it, it seems to brake about the same but I havent ever applied full braking, the pedal feel is better I think because of the upgraded brake lines.

i did find out that federo does make a replacement pad for the kit, so that's good as i love 2500's on my sti. when it comes time to replace the rotors i'll def look for vented rotors, as slotted non vented ones are a bit laughable.

for the price i got the kit for i can't complain, i knew going in that a good pad, rotor, ss lines and fluid combo would yield the same results, i'm just glad i can get my personal choice of pads now (from previous experiences)

sorry to have to tell u guys it'll cost a few bux now but at least its not a surprise. i have to thank NASA for working with us tho. they've wanted to see a scion only event since i first said sumthing about it 2 years ago. for those who are still unsure, i promise 24-30 is so worth it!
Hey SL'ers, this is Jon from NASA. Larry is correct; Scion was unable to make this event happen on the paperwork end, but we have arranged a special deal and discount regardless.

We have reserved 25 spots for Scion owners during the 3rd heat of this autocross (next Sunday, Sep 28, at Virginia Motorsports Park.) The more Scions you bring, the cheaper it will be for each owner. Pre-registration and $40 prepayment is required at this link:

https://www.nasaproracing.com/ems/event/801

If 11 to 25 Scions register, the price will be discounted to $30 each and the $10 difference will be refunded to you in cash at the event.

If 6 to 10 Scions register, the price will remain at $40 each.

If 5 or fewer Scions register, the price will not be discounted at all and you will be responsible for additional fees on event morning (another $5 each for NASA members or $15 each for nonmembers.)

Keep in mind, if you drove in that morning as a NASA nonmember who didn't pre-register, it would be $60 to participate. So, in theory, this deal makes it as much as HALF OFF! Quite a discount, and not something we offer very often. You should all thank Larry from the Noics for making it happen...

Registration & tech open at 10am. Guests & crew are welcome to attend at no charge. First car goes off at noon and you will get 6-10 timed runs each. The course will look something like this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b0vLeD4Ru9A

Series details, rules, classing, and much more info can all be found here:

http://www.nasaracing.net/autox.htm

Thanks in advance & see ya there,

Jon
Edit: updated pricing structure

NASA has sweetened the deal, which is now as follows:

25 Scions maximum, and 20 required to get your own heat.

11 to 25 Scions registered in advance = $30ea ($10 cash refund that day)

6 to 10 Scions registered in advance = $40ea (same price you pay when you pre-register)

5 or fewer Scions registered in advance = $45ea members / $55ea nonmembers (i.e. you'll either owe $5 or $15 cash when you get there)

Day of registration price = $50 NASA members / $60 NASA nonmembers

Three are on the list. Eight more qualifies everyone for the big discount. $30 is half what it costs to just show up and participate as a nonmember. This is an awesome deal!

OK, so I might cancel my VT weekend, and I can make this event. The only downside for me is driving 3 hours each way...

So who is actually going from western/central MD and want to meet up Sunday morning and caravan down to this?
