can someone explain to me the purpose of wheelie bars on a fwd car? I'm sure they serve a purpose, otherwise they would only add weight.

EST HP is about 1400 or so

not sure how you are knowledge wise in racing
but without those bars, his front wheels aren't staying on the ground
they are to keep the wheels from popping up and skipping
also keeps the car somewhat in control

 

+ the bars aren't as heavy as you think

but i see a few ppl try and get away with it

 

i will be there... just look for a Black perl scion xb with a team SCP sticker and a chrom grill

 

not going to be a huge load of ppl, plus if Tavis sets it up like last time
all Scion owners will be parked in a row in front of the World Racing trailer
