ok so i was flying home coming into dulles airport...and just before i landed i was looking outside the window and noticed that there was what looked like a test track oval...there were no major streets around, mostly a bunch of trees there was one street running along...but about a minute or two later we landed, wanted to know if anyone knows how i can get there and can public people take their cars onto the track?

 

the only track i know of close to the area is ODS

 

you mean http://www.olddominionspeedway.com/ I don't know of anything else in the area.

 

^ thats the only place im aware of as well.

so, i guess it takes 1 minute to get from ODS to dulles airport by plane..thats pretty fast

its not the speedway i live near the speedway, also there are a lot of things around the speedway...this place had a bunch of tree surrounding it

 

i remember a long time ago i was lookin for some place near the airport, and i ran into long lanes what seemed to be old runways or something, thats off of Rt 50.

but i havent seen anything like an oval track anywhere near the airport.
