Wassup,

Im in the USCG and will be in Yorktown, VA in October for a few weeks maybe longer for some training. I was wondering if anyone has any info on auto-x within a few hours drive. Havent dont it in awhile cause im in Key West, FL now. Need to fill my urge. Plus the 2008 auto-x schedule sticky could prolly use an update for 2009 so i dont have to post this. LOL

 

Google Tidewater sports car club and ODR SCCA. They usually have events once a month. TSCC does them at NAB Little Creek there is a big concrete pad they set course up on. ODR does it at the old pungo airfield. These are both in Va beach. Also langley speedway does soemthing on wednesdays but I'm not exactly sure what it is and that is in hampton. they call it wacky wednesday, I'm pretty sure its just letting a run what you brung on the circle track there.

 

Check vadriven.com forums in the events section. They are normally up-to-date.However, I wouldn't recomend joining the forum unless you like alot of negitivity.
If you find something, LMK... I can't run but I'd love to spectate, I can't afford to break anything right now!

 

You def need very thick skin to survive on VaDriven....

 

you can call langley speedway they hold scca events on sundays but not sure of the schedule and you can call Brady at custom car care hes located on rt17 in yorktown a little south of vicory blvd. and he could probably name of the entire schedule for all of va. without looking it up
